Deja vu from RPS comments.. Now I feel like a stalker.
-
Did the first one actually look like this?!
-
Yes, I was thinking the same thing. If the videos had just been gameplay clips cut together, I would've thought "It's just Diablo, in 3D." Now I'm thinking, "It's Diablo, in 3D. Only it's even more awesome!" Right.
-
Is anyone else having trouble downloading the Gameplay Trailer from the site (using the download app, that is..)?
-
http://www.blizzard.com/diablo3/ There's a streaming video of both the cinematic and gameplay video. It looks gorgeous. More of the same, of course, but spectacular. I'm already in love. EDIT: Also, downloadable versions.

I'm pretty sure I've seen you talking about Brighton alot, and imagine you lot live there. And now I'm over there visiting, so if any of you are off to pubs or whatever tonight, give me a message. Maybe we can meet up somewhere. Cheers!

Saw it on Saturday, my god it was awful. It was just a big mess of completely unfunny things.
-
Hey, sorry guys. Didn't have access to a computer later on in the evening so I never saw your replies. I've been staying at my sisters flat in Hove, the street's called Ventnor Villas, I think. But I mostly just stick to Brighton Center and the beach, because my sister's shop is on Western Road. I did end up going to a couple of pubs on Church Road and Western Road. Something called the Wick Inn and another called whatever & Lobster, can't remeber the name. I had a fun time with my mate, meeting some strangers and talking English with way too much accent. Yeah, it was freaky as hell when it suddenly started snowing yesterday. And now it's bright and sunny again. Weird.. P.S. My sister's cat went missing on Saturday, so if you guys happen to see a black, female cat wandering about with a light-brown, flower-patterned collar please call my sister's shop on 01273 20 44 77

Didn't see any posts about this so I'm going to post this in the hopes for some discussion. I first heard about this(the bit about Metaplace is a bit later in the article) today, but apparently they're into alpha stages now. Create your own MMORPG shards by modding exisiting ones or starting from scratch. I love the idea, just hope it's executed nicely and user-friendly. Official website.
-
Just a heads-up. Anyone interested in stress testing Metaplace should drop by on the official website this Friday at 5 pm PST. It's none of the massively-multiplayer stuff, just a test for seeing how the servers handle multiple instances of a single player game. Only multiplayer element will be a chat between instances.

I can tell you that it happened when jumping into a tree (was aiming for a raptor.) Aside from that I have no idea how it happened.
-
Wow, happened into some weird glitch that ripped my jeep apart and sent it flying around 500 meters in the air. Before the jump I had about 400,000.. ended up with 1,549,500..
-
Booyah! 1,255,750

863,950 Throwing raptors into the catchers seems to yield a hell of a lot of points. As does scaring them into running into catchers alive.
-
768,000 And a 3.04s long 2-wheel. Anyone getting close to the 10s 2-wheel achievement?
-
Yeah, there are 100 orbs, and each one you grab is saved permanently. I've got something above 50 orbs right now. In that last run I got about 100.000 points from killing and exporting, but about 400.000 just collecting 20 orbs.
-
596,050 Funnily enough I got this while just searching for orbs.
-
This is pretty fun, in this absurd, mindless way. Some of the tricks you inadvertantly pull can sometimes amaze me, and it's great you're awarded for doing wacky things like a barrel-roll. 575,400

The official site makes it sound like some browser-based app, and that every world has a link which can be used as a Facebook or MySpace widget, so that you can put that in your social network profiles and invite anyone to play. I look at it more like an actual game than a Second Life virtual world thing. But it can probably be whatever the one creating his "world" wants it to be. I love the idea that any item, room and world has its own internet existence on a server and an item can for example e-mail the one carrying the item. There's a whole lot of possibilities in this, if it works the way it sounds. About the April launch, they might be further along in development than one might think.

Was that intentional, toblix?

I've heard a lot of GOTY buzz surrounding Portal and TF2, so I doubt it's because HL2:Ep2 isn't "next-gen".
-
I bought it for the PC, and it was just a standard DVD case.

"Help Rigby get rid of the pesky blocks who are ruining the perfect aesthetics of his curvy kingdom." I don't know if you guys are into Flash games, with your fancy Guitaaar Herows and whatnot on them consoles. But I just finished a little piece of game called Rigby and thought maybe you guys would like to play it. It's more of a proof of concept than a game, really. But I tried to make it as finished as possible before unleashing it unto the public. Couldn't stand to work on it anymore, 'cause the code's a right mess now (which is embarrassing because I started studying Computer Science.) So I'm just putting it out, fixing the bugs that crop up from public scrutiny and then moving on to a new project. With better code.. and hookers! Anyways, the game's here! Hope you enjoy it. EDIT: If, for some reason, the link doesn't work use this: http://kongregate.com/games/ptgames/rigby?referrer=ptgames

Thanks for the link Noyb, and yes, Jay generally knows his shit. I love how the attitude in the comments changed dramatically after I posted there.
