The End of Mad Men 7 - Person to Person

Has the show ever had the main characters take credit for a real life ad? I can't remember them doing so, and it would be weird to end on Don suddenly being the one who came up with the actual Hillside Coke ad. I'm going to lean on this being more a symbolic thing for the show rather than Don literally going back to make the Coke ad. -
It is really versatile and good at a lot of stuff, even sculpting, if you get used to it! You can't beat that price!

Cheapest ACTUAL GOOD option!! :( EDIT: Especially considering the price, Cinema4D is quite rubbish for game asset stuff. Baking and UV mapping is seriously lacking in features and is unnecessarily complicated to use. Even Blender is better at it.

Yep! It's just what my job has so I use it. I think Modo is probably the cheapest option, and it looks really good!

Playing around with SCULPTING! It's fun! Don't know if I'll do anything with this, but hopefully I can cobble together a Myst-like with a statue of something looming over that arch or something, I don't know!

Wow! Extra good news! It's back on AND more of it!

Wait, what! Is toe-blix not the correct pronounciation of toblix?! I feel like I don't know him anymore! -
Is the film only available on Blu-Ray/DVD? I can't seem to find it on any streaming services.

There was a Treehouse Live event thingie after E3. It wasn't entirely clear, but it seemed like one of the guys was playing with the GamePad looking at his GamePad's screen while the other had a Pro Controller and looked at the TV. So no split-screen, which would be why it's only two player. I haven't read anything about this, though, so this might be entirely incorrect!

The Direct made a big deal about how Regular Battles have a fixed map set that rotates regularly, so you should look at which maps are in rotation before you pick your weapon layout. So I don't think you can switch in-match.

I'm going to try and make it into one of them, but am busy almost all Saturday (which the entire thing falls on for Europe, I think) Kind of bummed seeing so many negative Splatoon reactions on Twitter. I'm super excited about the game, it looks so fluid and fun! People's reaction seems to be that it's not focusing enough on online because the "proper" matchmaking isn't coming until August.. Eh? It seemed like a pretty intense, competitive multiplayer game to me already. Maybe I'm just a baby that expects less from online competitive games. Like, I'm pretty happy this *doesn't* have voice chat. But apparently that means it's not a *serious* online game..

toblix's voice glitching out hilariously as he won something was the hightlight. Except me getting the winning kill by first driving over my teammate toblix and then my enemy dibs was definitely the actual highlight.

Yessssss, thanks for grabbing a screenshot of my sweet ride, elmuerte! I'm so bummed I didn't at least get third place in my last race, but I guess being in first place and then speeding off of an off-ramp into a building and ending up 7th is almost like winning. Helicopter Racing is boring. I didn't get to try Tractor Racing. That Shotgun Wedding deathmatch was fun. Capture the Tractor wasn't really much fun. All in all, I liked this a lot! GTA Online UI and just in general, having to load the public world or whatever every time I want to quit a session and join your session again or if my connection times out. Holy shit that is a shitty process for setting up a tiny session with friends. How about a Menu-only Online experience before you put me in any sort of public or private world that has to load for ages, Rockstar?! I think the idea of a Burnout Paradise-like city where you drive up to races and such is a fun idea on paper, but just let me choose whether I want that or just want to join my friends' game. Nope, let me check my phone for job listings and Oh hey, there's a random person asking me to join him. What a mess!

Thaaaanks! I'm surprised all those booleans and coroutines I cobbled together for the system held up to the end. I was almost duct-taping them together by the end of it all.. Just for funsies I collected all the sprites into one GIF! Also, and I hope toblix doesn't mind me linking it, but the music is all on his Super Professional SoundCloud Account, if you want to listen to it again and again. I know I do!

HOTS... no the other HOTS. The Lords Management one damn it!
BigJKO replied to Frenetic Pony's topic in Video Gaming
I like this! Just tried the tutorials of both this and Dota 2 and I HOTS definitely felt more like something I would play a little bit of. Still haven't braved anything but practice against bots, but I'll try it out in the weekend when the kids are away and I can shout and swear and whatnot. I think not having a selection of 100s of heroes and 100s of items from the get go sort of helps HOTS feel more managable for me. The talent thing makes this more like something like Awesomenauts, which I really liked. I'm not sure how I feel about the map-specific goals, they seem like a distraction more than something actually fun, but blasting through a base with the Dragon King or whatever is still a bit fun. And thus I descend into the endless void of Lords Management. -
Idle Viewers: Feminist Film Club (Hedwig and the Angry Inch, 5/18)
BigJKO replied to Apple Cider's topic in Movies & Television
Nah, just wanted to get a feel for what cut is people's favorite. I was bummed when I went to watch Aliens and happened to watch a Director's Cut which had an intro section that sort of dampened the mystery of it all for me. Was wondering if there was any consensus regarding which one is preferred with Alien. -

Fun! There's probably a wealth of opinions on this subject matter, but which version are we watching? Original Cut or Director's Cut, or whatever they're called. Maybe there are even more? -

If glowing Papyrus is good enough for James Cameron, it's good enough for NBC's Life! -
