Oh well - so psp games are like crazy fuck expensive.... it's just that I don't have that many money.... and pc-games are easier to come by far cheaper... (= the bargain bin....) I also had the experience when trying metroid - that the controls sucked... But you really just have to get used to them... and then they are really good.... also in mario 64 - I'm getting fond of the thumb-strap thingie... it's very smooth.... -man, crazy nintendo - but it really seems to work till now...

I just got a DS today weee... I also got Super Mario 64 ds: the remake: avenge.. serious though it is fun... I just wish the games wasn't so damn expensive... I think Project Rub is my next goal.... (why did they change the title from Feel the Magic?? -much cooler title I think....).. Anyways I wish someone near me had a ds so I could actuallu use pictochat to teach children obscene words and facts about anatomy - I'm a bit tired chatting to myself...

Well- both of your examples was games made by Peter Molyneux - and while being a great game designer he has a tendency to overhype his own games - thus creating exactly the situation you describe.... Will Wright on the other hand is - in fact - not Peter Molyneux... I see your point - and one should of course always be careful with ones own expectations. But to judge it different for the sake of difference is just unreasonable bad hype - especially when Will Wright is behind it....

just getting a future flash in which the psp and the ds will feature hardware-killing viruses they transmit to each other... effectively hardening fanboy flamewars to something far more sinister....

I was wondering if any of you guys with a ds could tell me if it is possible to play using the touchpad while holding the unit in both hands? I understand that the thumb-thingie can be used for this - but is it smooth to have your thumb all the way in the middleof the ds...? in the commercials they are holding it in one hand using the stylus with the other which seems a tad stupid for most uses I can think of?

HA - the world will laugh at you in 2 years.... (maybe) My feeling is that the ds is getting a lot of attention because it is actually doing something new and great - while psp is getting attention because it has a big screen... (duh).... it might be sexier and all that - but i feel the ds might rock while the psp will swing slow... or something.... well fuck this analyzis - I just think the ds is way cooler....

Angry StoneMonster: The Revenge: Heavy Metal Edition

I recently picked out The Last Express from my library and began playing it for the fifth time I think. And it hit me: I think this is the greates game evAr... mmm the voice-acting, the mood, the world on the brink of war, the intriguing chracters, the absolute realistic use of different languages - so seldom done in even movies.... ahh i love this game. For me it is one of those games that can make you cry when you realize you have finished it and there is nothing left but your utterly boring every day reality. How I wish Mechner made a sequel. Maybe the last fishing boat: Robert Cath fleeing from his prosecuters in a fisherboat on the black sea... intriguing local fishermen - the whole political crazyness in the middleeast in the third game - the last camel-caravan... and so on,..... No really I think there is great potential to take this formula and make more games with it.... it was so.... neat.....
