well it seems like it's good code, in the sense that it was made for dos and win95 and runs fine on xp - so why not... I can't guarantee it though.... it says on the package that the system requirements for mac is powermac system 7.1.2 or higher..... don't know if that will help....

Yeah I know what you mean - this game requires a certain initiative to get into... I mean it's not very pick up and play like - but when you do take the time and actually go through it to the end - it is so great... really really great... it takes some and it gives a lot..... Well I'm not sure about the movie - there is one from 1937 which is definately not based on the game (and not the other way around either). I know Jordan Mechner made a screenplay out of the game - and tried to make producers see how great it was for a couple of years - but I don't think he succeded.. anyway here is a cook-up of reviews from everywhere.... http://members.lycos.co.uk/ianandmark/lastexpress/ Nope - it is real-time, but in fact you could just go to your own train-department and sit there for like days-and-night.... You want complete the game - as there is some crucial points where you have to do definitew things... but they are rather few - the thing is there is so many conversations to eavesdrop so much to know - that you will miss something whatever you do.... you can listen to someone in the salon, but at the same time you could use the time to explore their department when they're gone etc.... it's not that puzzle-filled in the traditional sense - it's more about figuring out what is going on with all these people and yourself... etc etc.... and just to experience the mood.... = great I have no idea..... is there often compatibilty-problems with os classic and osx?

ahh it must be great diving into this game for the first time... And the box is really nice - for some reason mine included a strategy guide also with interviews and historical background for where the game begins (as well as the 'strategy' of course....
