It does. There is an info button or something that tells you what is being updated. And there is nothing stupid about supporting the mod community. How many games have you bought in the past that have been updated officially as much as HL2 already has?

First, on the subject of materia, that was the worst thing to ever happen in a game ever. Materia homogenizes the entire game, making every charecter play in EXACTLY THE SAME MANNER. There is no need to change your party ever, because they are all the same generic character. The gameplay is crap. There is nothing strategic nor in any way deep about it. And it is simply bad design when you have to spend time running around in circles to level up because you are stuck. As far as the plot goes, stereotypical japanese archetypes in a stereotypical battle. I do not see how anyone was interested in Areis, although her death scene was pretty funny. And the worst thing about this game is the stupid bonus shit you have to do to get anything worth getting. You want Cloud's last limit? Hope you like chocobo racing, because you are going to have to do it for EIGHT SOLID YEARS. You want the last summon? Well, enjoy the fucked up "Make chocobos have sex for a really long" minigame. Jesus fuck, just thinking about this game makes me angry.

I bet the game would sell better if it was officially named "The Excellent Game Psychonauts." Oh, and if the box featured more explosions.

Huh. I never heard of this game before, but now I need to own it. Sounds awesome.

GameCube is the superior console. With the exception of some Katamari Damacy, I did all my console gaming last year on my cube.

I only wish they completed the illusion by making gigantic hands holding all the characters. And the awesome hand to hand combat was replaced by the giant hands repeatedly smacking the characters into each other. That would be boss.

I dunno. They could have different zones... like one where pretty much anything goes, one without PVP, and one with very strict policing. I think it could be done, it would just have to be done right. And that is a MMO that I would be willing to pay a monthly fee for, at least for a bit.

Just so you guys know, there is a Sam and Max Freelance Police download on the front page of Gamespot. I'm not to sure what it is, seeing that the download is taking 8 YEARS but the description says CNET_2004_HOLIDAY_MOVIE_.part1.

I fucking hate secururom so hard. I have perfectly legal CD Emulation software, that I use only for games that I purchase... except secururom blocks it. What the fuck. All copy protection does is hurts legal users.
