Always gets a replay, never tilts at all.

And you can sure play a mean pinball.

What I gather is, with Gold they send you a hard copy of the game on disc, with the other two they don't... The site says "allow 6 to 8 weeks for delivery of Half-Life 2 Gold merchandise.", and the features list mentions a special-edition box. So unless they're just sending a nice box for your hat and posters, I'm guessing you get a hard copy too... Either way, I bought Gold, since I'm a sucker for shiny merchandise.

As somebody who's played 95% of Sierra's adventures, my opinion is obviously far more relevant and correct than yours, and I think the Quest for Glory series was for the mostpart awesome.

Yeah, what Huz and ysbreker said is right. If it doesn't load right in Firefox, the HTML is bust, since good, w3 compliant, stuff all loads fine.

Jesus, it's quite a skill you have that you can make even an innocent sentence like that sound dirty...

Huh? You either a) had alt held down when you clicked the link/pressed enter for the URL (a mistake I frequently make, given how often I alt-tab to other applications) use a really stupid HTML preprocessor. If you mean http://me.warcry.com/ (got it from your profile), it loads fine for me.

Mouse Gestures (if you've never used them, you're missing out, they make browsing so much quicker and more intuitive) GMail Notifier (same as the Windows one really, but it sits in Firefox's taskbar) Download Manager Tweak (makes the download manager open as a new tab that's less intrusive and generally better all-round)

No, I mean, you know, good reviews. Like ones written by people who know what they're talking about... ¬_¬

Yeah, I've seen this before. The bork bork bork one is pretty cute. Pig Latin too. They even have Welsh, even though only about 500,000 people speak it.

Read other people's reviews, and copy the style and layout. I'm not suggesting you plagiarise them in any way, just write about the gameplay where they do, and the graphics where they do, etc. After doing this for awhile, you'll be able to adjust the layout slightly to your own preferences. All reviews essentially say the same things, it's just the order and way in which they're said that differs...

Thunderbird's junkmail filters are amazing. After a few days of highlighting your spam, and clicking 'mark as junk', it will have learned well enough to only let maybe 1 in a 100 junk mails through. After a few months of using it now, my mail (I get at least 100 junk emails a day) is clear of unfiltered junk. I stuck to using Outlook for awhile because it can fetch your Hotmail messages, while Thunderbird technically can't. However, if you use Hotmail Popper, you can convert your Hotmails to POP mails and have Thunderbird pick them up. I don't need to use Outlook for anything anymore, Thunderbird does it all!

Tabbrowser Extensions is far better than SingleWindow, since it does a whole lot more. I was using 3 different extensions before to get my tabs the way I wanted, and TE does it all using just one now. It's definitely worth getting if you want Opera-style session saving, anyway, since SessionSaver hasn't been available since about 0.8 now... And although I use an external RSS prog, the dynamic bookmarks thing is still pretty nifty.

It was me who send them to you, iirc, Simon (er, you are aka Gonzo, right?) And yeah, IV is awesome if you can manage to play it without it crashing. Quest for Glory 4 1/2 was sorta fun, albeit in a really crass and crude way. Pity it's almost impossible to get it to run anymore (it was made with DOS AGS, which makes it pretty hard to run on non-DOS or Windows 9x systems).

A lot of people here should know about QfGII remake, since you all faithfully subscribe to Adventure Gamers Underground. Right? Right? Right?!?!?! Ahem. Anyway, yeah, QfGII was already awesome, and Tierra's remake looks like being amazing. Shouldn't be long left either, given how long they've been working on it...

Fascinating fact of the day: Roald Dahl lived about 5 miles from my parents' homes, in Llandaf in Cardiff.

So basically exactly what I said then?! (apart from emule, but don't use that because it sucks)

If you want programmes, it's BitTorrent you want. Best client for that in my experience is Azureus. Combine that with a good torrents site like Suprnova and you're set. If you want music, it's SoulSeek ya needs.

Or they canned the project and are too ashamed to tell anyone after hyping the game for so long...

Fallout was made by Canadians.

Silly Jake, it's p3n1sh.

My photos were taken not long after I moved in. I've been here about 5 weeks now, and apart from 6 bags of recycling (damn Swansea and its limited recycling facilities) and loads of unwashed dishes, it's pretty much the same.

Because he has enough room, and he's a geek? I had 3 PCs set up in my old room...
