Not to change the nature of this thread, this is just a one off question if any comic guys know - I'm looking for a short story from 2000ad, I think, called 100 bullets. I don't think it was part of the comic series by the same name, though it could have been taken from one of the stories. It involves the journey of 100 individual bullets that are fired from numerous guns fired in a bar fight. First panel is bullet one and it's final target etc through to the final 100th bullet. Does anyone know the exact comic this short story is from?

Ed, what did you think of Sin City? I haven't been able to see it, obviously, but I would like your opinion on it as your one of the few true comic readers remaining. I did like the V trailer, though, I can't help but feel it felt much too like watching a trailer for The Shadow, or Phantom with Billy Zane (not that they were bad film translations mind) just that it...I don't know. What do you think?

Not at all. You stand by what you say. I totally agree with you. Microsoft may not come with a ton of original content but they make the best version of a multiformat without challenge (maybe one or two exceptions).

I have to agree with Marek on this. The zoom thing in Galactica is overdone. I'm just waiting to see them zoom in on someones dinner or pet fish. It's like bullet time all over again. I really do like the effect but it is a little overused in Galactica.

I don't get how you guys got so unlucky with FIREFLY. We got it hear in England in the CORRECT order (what the FOX?) and the SCI-FI channel ran the entire series over two days. They are running it again on Sundays and Tuesdays now. Of course we all have the boxset too.

There is only one contender for greatest intro and that goes to Namco for the SOUL BLADE intro. I remember bringing my Japanese copy to work and loading it up on the screen. There were people lined up just to watch it. Then they would line up AGAIN! Namco taught every other developer cat how to make intros. Salute Namco, you! Secondly, on the audio front, my personal fav goes to SEGA. All of you go and boot up your SEGA SATURN (you DO all have one dont you?) and load up VIRTUAL ON - the original game. Let the bootup run and when the screen goes white, there's a sonic boom followed by a DEEEEP gravel voice declaring - PATENTED BY SEGA! It's just the best. Plus it doesn't do it everytime. It's like a gift to you. Ben go into the SEGA archives and listen to the sweet sweet sound of our lifegiver.

I had the 30 foot campaign poster when I used to be a buyer for HMV when it originally came out. However it was returned/destroyed after complains were upheld and all images of that promotion had to be taken down. I think you will find it hard to get hold of now. The bathtub shot was pretty stark as pointed out though. not too sure you'd still want it when you see it in the full size flesh, so to speak.

I think they should make Tupperware Gear Solid. Not only can you then hide in this box but you can keep your sandwiches fresh too. Personally, I really enjoyed the Metal Gear series. It provided, for me, the first solid (sorry) bigscreen feel to a game. I didn't feel I had to rush the game and was happy to takein all of the cutscenses and codec gumbo. Plus the audio is fantastic (Liberty being my fav. for that)
