I doubt I'll finish this on Normal. Third level was pretty tough. I've been killed several times. I guess circle-strafing (kind of, but more pixelated) is the only way to fight in this game. And it's not exactly a good gameplay element. So I really wish I'd started the game on Easy. Not sure if I'll go back or just stop playing. It's good that the dungeons are randomly generated, wouldn't want to restart at all if I had to do the same thing over again.

Ok, so the server just opened a few days ago and now you're already going for the end game? Uh, I guess it doesn't really make a difference when you do it.

Never played Magic the Gathering, but I just tried the MTG game demo on Steam, but I don't like it at all. The UI is horrible, with popups all over the place. Instead of not letting you do something, it will pretend to let you do it, then tell you something in a popup dialog, like "It's not your turn".

I started listening to the older episodes now and I'm surprised to find that even the ones I thought would be boring to me are really interesting. For example I loved Episode 4 about the Pacific Theatre game, although I don't play wargames.

That makes everything you guys built so far even more impressive. Or did you cheat in any way to get more blocks?

Wow, Ascension actually works on a phone? It sounds crazy. Even on the iPad I wish the cards were more legible.

Only played the iOS version. It was great, but I stopped when I couldn't remember what I was doing after a longer pause.

Somebody on the Idle Forums probably made me buy Crusader Kings 2 before I even started listening to 3MA. I still haven't played much, but I do have a vacation coming up soon. But 3MA made me start playing Civ IV (finally, but also haven't had much time to play) and got me really excited about A Few Acres of Snow. I managed to play one game so far, but that was kind of ruined because I misunderstood the winning conditions and the game was over when I thought it was just starting. I still want to play a few games of that before I buy it, though.

I really liked Ascension on the iPad (at least I learned the game better that way than playing the physical game against experienced players). After a few games I can see some problems with the interface, but overall it's quite well done. Will definitely take a look at Nightfall some time. I like Dominion more than either of these, but for some reason a digital version does not interest me a lot.
