Hmm.. I now googled American Apparel too. It's a porn site with a "kids" section?

I selected a smaller T-Shirt than normally in the hopes that I will lose some more weight and it will fit me then.

and 'y' is a consonant in the beginning of a word (so "a unique" is correct)

I'm amazed that your college has hands

I've got to say that bundle is impressive. Of course I already own all the games, but considering buying in case I'm missing any of the soundtracks.

Test Seems to work now, didn't work before

Now everything is green and I guess my view in the other direction has a bit of everything: some abandoned building site, a car repair shop, a bit of a forest, some houses, a tiny strip of a lake and an even tinier strip of the sea. The only thing that's missing is the skyline of the Olympus Mons.

Finally bought it, hope I find some time to play this week. Already forgot the spoilers.

I don't know what this thread is about, so... This is the second time I installed a new version of a video card driver without restarting my computer. I'm still amazed.

Whew. Managed to get enough of the dents out that the small ones that remain don't bother me too much. Still some scratches on it, but maybe I'll repaint it later.

Wouldn't say the core parts are in flux more than most languages that are still evolving (e.g. Java). Not sure how much Ruby/Python get new features, maybe things are changing less there. Perhaps it isn't really a beginners language, I think that mostly depends on what learning materials are available. So perhaps in that sense Python or Ruby is better.

I'm somewhat biased but would recommend Scala instead. It has a somewhat similar (but better IMHO) syntax to Ruby or Python, and is as powerful but is statically typed and not 50 times slower than the fastest languages (maybe still 2 times slower). It might be problematic to learn, though, because a lot of Scala programmers are into some really advanced type theory and category theory stuff and you'll likely find many google results going way over your head.

Today sucks! I just dropped a lamp that cost too much for what it looks like because it's a retro one that you can't just buy from anywhere (bought it at a used retro furniture shop) and now it has several dents and scratches on it. I can probably fix the dents, but it'll not look as good as before Shouldn't have messed with such things so late at night today considering I was already feeling a bit aloof in the evening. PS. I moved into my new place a couple of days ago. Yay!

The Julian Murdoch **HONORARY** iOS Board Game/Strategy Thread
Erkki replied to OzymandiasAV's topic in Strategy Game Discussion
Also, thanks to whoever pointed out that managing the center is a good strategy. I used to not care about the cards that allow you to do that, but I tried that now and it seems a good supporting strategery to your main stratagem. -

Managed to repeat it after about 7 attempts -- the 3 or so cards that are absolutely necessary just didn't appear that often in the same game, or the opponent got one. I only got 650, though, as I forgot to use the Tablet of Time in one turn -- easy to do as there is so much to do in one turn, and it does get boring by the end as the only thing stopping you from going on infinitely is either some machine word limit or the time you are willing to put in. -

Cool. I tried to do that as well, but haven't had much time to play and no luck with cards so far. -
I've used two monitors at work for years and I would suck without that, even though I really mainly use the primary one and the secondary one is for when I really feel like I need to see two things at once.

Idle Thumbs Progresscast #12: The Progresscast Within
Erkki replied to Jake's topic in Idle Thumbs Episodes & Streams
Thanks for spoiling Walking Dead -
I have some media keys but they often feel like they're the wrong ones (on either Linux or Windows). Mute & Volume buttons are a must, and a Play/Pause key would be nice but I don't have.
