It had its problems, but I quite enjoyed that game.

My iPhone 3GS's GPS device recently stopped working and Wi-Fi seems to be getting weaker too. I decided to buy another used 3GS (will get it tomorrow). It's a really good phone, although some of the software is a bit slow with iOS 6. I'm not a guy who switches phones often (had a Siemens ME45 for 7 years, then got a PDA/Phone that only lasted a year before it broke, and then got the 3GS), and I don't like the thought of paying several hundred euros each year or two for a new one. So only going to spend 100€ this time to replace my broken one with the same model.

I agree with everything you said. One more thing bothered me a bit, though: I got "thoughtful" time rating on every level (and still A+ on most). Was it just my play style or is it really unlikely to do the levels faster in a first playthrough?

Haha sounds like a plan

Compared to Estonian sushi? Yes.

Can't wait to play it. Good to see more first person games without shooting. A few years ago there was only Penumbra, now there's Amnesia, Gone Home, Witness, this, Miasmata, Dear Esther etc.

Amazing idea. I can't think of any game that has done this.

A better review: http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2013-06-05-the-last-of-us-review makes me want to play it right now.

Hm... too bad about the story. I think I will skip this game (I assume it doesn't really add that much compared to the previous Metro?).

Finished it. It didn't get incredibly hard for me, but some puzzles took a few minutes of figuring out. Sound and visual design is great, and the puzzles are nicely structured. What I didn't like is the gravity-switching puzzles -- but I generally don't like those in platformers (they didn't seem quite as out of place as in Limbo, but the situation is very similar where the final part of the game relies entirely on gravity switching).

I'm waiting for reviews, can probably buy either this or Metro Last Light, but not both.

Style is pretty good! Played a couple of hours yesterday, didn't get really hard yet.

My last game project has been collecting dust since I started working on a programming language, but I've had some new ideas for it that I want to test so might give Unity a try as well. I'm assuming there's a Box2D port for it or some other way to do 2D physics?

It has now been restored again, though.

Yeah, I agree -- it's either going to get even bigger or going to wane and we don't know yet. My bet is that it will get even bigger. I haven't personally been kickstarting anything since DFA and Idle Thumbs, but I might do again at some point. Since I don't have time/interest to consume most of the reward stuff anyway, I just figured I can get those games when they come out, if they already look like they'll have a successful kickstarter.

This video was better than the first one. I think the part with the wife-in-fridge & daughter-in-distress was especially effective.

Yeah, seems like a neat idea. Also, seems that Dan called it in December.

Awesome!
