I vote for Donnie Darko. (by soundtrack I probably mean songs you can hear in the movie, not songs that are simply on a soundtrack CD) Echo & the Bunnyman's "The Killing Moon" haunted me for a year or so, and now Joy Division's "Love Will Tear Us Apart" has almost haunted me for a year as well. I sometimes listen to just that song for hours.

I'd never even heard of this game until I read this thread at AG. This is some kind of action/adventure game similar to GTA3 and BG&E with robots! And by the sound of it it should rock! Why hasn't it had any publicity? Apparently the demo was released but retracted. I'm trying to download it now via eMule.

The Siemens ME45 can take dropping quite well. At some point it developed some black spots on the screen, but they disappeared later. I suspect there are some kind of nano-robots in there doing repairs.

I don't understand the people who need to have the newest phone models all the time. This is the only one I've ever had and it's served me well for 3 and a half years. My only regret is that it doesn't have Java support (the first Siemens phones with Java cost double the price of the ME45 about when they all came out, and that one was already very expensive).

I just re-read all the Amber books by Roger Zelazny that I have (less than half). And now I started reading a local author's fantasy novel, which I once thought I liked, but now I find it sucks badly. I'd like to read Earthsea, but tomorrow I'm going to temporarily trade my Robin Hobb's Tawny Man trilogy for Philip Pulman's "His Dark Materials" trilogy. I don't know anything about it, but my friend knows his sci-fi so it'll probably be good.

I'd also choose Athlon64 over Intel, so I'd probably get an AGP card as well. Now all I need to do is save more money

The lighting in that tech demo looked great.

Wasn't that Lost Coast thing supposed to be out in February or March or something? I seem to remember that when they announced it it was supposed to be released quite soon afterwards.

But... day jobs are fun.
