I gave up on the "no shooting" achievement right after you I tried maybe 40 times, couldn't get past all those guys without shooting.

I just thought of a name for it: Wii Tuu * I'm currently playing on the PC mostly, and Xbox 360. Wii is mostly unused. Still haven't got a PS3. I think I will after I move to my own apartment (which should happen Q2 this year I hope). * edit: damn forums, the Tuu is shupposed to be in superscript.

Yeah, I just got to some of the harder levels and think they should have split those into a separate expansion: "RedLynx Trials 2: Trials and Errors"

2,49€ for Red Lynx Trials 2. I got it after RPS recommended it, and I'm totally loving it (although it has some crappy elements as well).

I see that World of Goo got the dubious award of Best Game No One Played at Gamespot. Isn't this a bit self-defeating? If they have such an award, shouldn't it be more prominent instead of listed as one of the dubious honors, between "Flat-Out Worst Game" and "Worst Use of a Great License"? I mean, if they think more people should have played it, why not promote it as a great honor only second to GOTY or something?

Just finished it. Some thoughts: It's really beautiful but the lack of non-enemy characters makes it feel empty . I liked the first map a lot more than the second, so the last half of the game didn't appeal to me as much. Although the rivers in the second map were nice. Phantom blinks? Sometimes (quite often, actually) I thought I saw the diamond-detector blink just once, but really it didn't. Or did it? Is the game messing with me, or is it just my brain? Did this happen to anyone else? I got many of the weapons/upgrades that would have been most useful for my play style relatively late in the game, when they weren't that useful any more. Maybe I'll play it a second time later with a different character and I'll know what to buy.

Caves will probably remain clear (not 100% sure), but in the wasteland the random monsters will respawn.

Yeah, I might play it as well. For some reason I can't remember, I only played it for a couple of hours and then never touched again.

I kind of agree, but... Blood Money is perhaps the best in the series, but being the fourth game, it didn't really feel as great to me as it could have. They got the mechanics pretty much fleshed out and nearly perfected with Hitman 2 already, although the later ones added improvements as well. And I'd buy a new Hitman game any day just for the missions if nothing else changed.

Holy mother of a shit fuckering cock sucking son of a bitch. I just lost two hours of play* because the quicksave failed silently when I didn't have enough free disk space to save. I.e. the game told me save was successful, in fact it did nothing. And also, I hate it how the savegames list takes a minute of "refreshing list" before it is displayed. * mostly diamond hunting in seldom visited corners of the map and a somewhat difficult sneak I managed pulled off.

Oh man, I remember than scene from Hitman with the winch, I tried to ghost that level, but that particular spot must have taken me 30 attempts or so. In the end I went for a different route I think. I think I'm going to play it again after I finish Far Cry 2.

I hate it when a person of unknown gender is referred to as "he or she" etc. And "he" is rarely used for unknown gender (probably because it can be misunderstood tor be masculine), and "they" may be confusing as well. Why not shorten he/she to just e personal pronoun; the third-person singular, nominative case (accusative em, possessive es, reflexive emself) Or maybe er/erself because em conflicts with 'em. Hm... actually it seems yo has more chance than e.

But at least it's backwards compatible with those accents since using 'he' is also technically correct

The player didn't let me watch more than 5 minutes or so and I was totally ok with that.
