  4. Beyond Better & Evil!

I watched it again and I'm almost sure one of the cops whose head gets stepped on isn't human. But it's kind of hard to tell so I might be wrong. Also, the guy sitting on the toilet has a strange head, but it's not very clear either.
  5. Beyond Better & Evil!

Maybe what the video shows is just some mini-gamish part of it? Or a cut-scene. Though it'd be strange to show that so early when so little is known about the game. Also I'm not 100% sure all of those characters were humans (and maybe there is the segregation theme). Whatever the case, I'm not willing to lose hope that BG&E2 will be great over this (unofficially?) released video.
  6. Tone Matrix

I'm inspired by elmuerte's willingness to do something about it

  9. Being unemployed is shite

    Argh.. that sucks.
  10. Risen (Gothic successor)

I don't think it's as unmanageable as Morrowind -- I pretty much knew what was what for the most part, but the 3 large areas were so different that they felt like different games (even though they were seamlessly connected as far as I remember). That's not necessarily bad, but only the main area (where you start) felt really focused and it would have been a better game with only that part and less bugs and even more interesting stuff in there. With Gothic 1 I really struggled with the controls at first. Then I got the hang of it and never had problems with them since. That might be fun indeed, but then again staring up at people might get old soon. Unfortunately, from one of the videos on the game's site there seems to be another prophesied Nameless Hero in this game. Hmm... can't think of a very good reason. Gothic 1 was better. And actually a lot of the stuff in Gothic 3 was more interesting to me even as the game as a whole was too spread out. If the community patch (haven't tried it) fixes many issues I would perhaps even recommend it over Gothic 2, but keep in mind that it's quite long and some parts might get boring.
  11. I think Lazlow and Dan Houser wrote them together in the previous games, don't know about GTAIV.
  12. It does remind of Outcast a little bit, but I don't think that's what they meant. I just started playing this last week but I have played less than an hour so far.
  13. Wow, that is just awesome!

  15. Life

I've been sick for 5 days already and am working from home. The work is frustrating at the moment. Anyone who does programming, stay away from SOAP/WS-Security and any messaging systems that haven't been scientifically proven to be easy to use. I think I can't mention any names, but VOZ JroFcurer Zrffntr Oebxre can rot in hell. On the other hand, I have an idea for a product for Java developers that might turn out awesome and might even sell somewhat. I'm spending most of my free time right now working on the prototype and if it is well received I and a few coworkers might turn it into an actual product. Unfortunately that leaves me no time for Orbitum and other game projects. In other words, I have no life at the moment

  18. PCA for the win! A small step towards fixing the lack of TLA-s in video games.
  19. Should we include really short games? I mean ones that can be completed in 10 minutes or so. Passage, Windosill, Paper Moon etc. [edit] since The Graveyard is already there representing really short games, I added Paper Moon.
  20. Awkward Boners

It's just slow I think. Nothing NSFW I think, just photos of some awkward boners.
  21. Windosill

Yeah, that's literally the price of a sandwich (or so). I'll buy it along with some other games later. My virtual credit card just expired yesterday and I can't be arsed to make a new one although it's just 5 minutes.
  22. Windosill

    Really cool puzzles
  23. I heard that if you sit on the bench long enough in The Graveyard, the game turns into a zombie killing FPS.
  24. Yes, I was thinking of threads that already exist. I'll add a link to my post. Don't know how to align the links without adding another More: in front of it.
