From the few minutes I played I didn't like it. Am I dead inside?

Holy crap. 31:50 happened exactly at a moment when I won a game of Spider Solitaire and the fireworks came up. Bwwwrrrr!

Been playing this a bit today. It's really well made. While at first it seems to make sense to avoid the boxes and office chairs, I actually ended up using them to slow me down occasionally because some randomly generated element at full speed might just end your progress. Just managed to get 5500, oddly no giant robots showed up this time.

Awww... could you post that just once more. I can't have enough of it.

I did the Insurgent (on casual, got through the exploding escape on first try!). Took about 50 minutes. Now my next goal is to get level 50 (currently 45) and become first in all the leaderboards Not gonna go for the 100% time limited completions, I'm not that OC. Anyway, I've spent surprisingly lot of time playing this relatively short game. Definitely a candidate for my personal GOTY, although I hope Brütal Legend will take that place.

I tried the demo but didn't like it. I'm not a big fan of PA anyway (although the comics are quite often good). Yes, the screenshots didn't really impress

I don't think so. But I think it should run fine on modern computers, at least on WinXP

The Last Express is so awesome that you shouldn't not play it just because of this. First: it's fairly short, so you could play again after beating it once. Second: it allows you to rewind. I don't remember how much freedom you had with that, but I think most of the time you can go back if you want to do some part differently.

I was hoping you meant the secret heat room by the hard part, wasn't expecting the horror of the exploding escape. I tried to do Insurgent (watching the walkthroughs on iPhone while playing when I got stuck) but I screwed up near the end: the exploding escape seemed so hard that I went back and got a health pack. Then looked that I still had 3% (of 4% allowed) and went to get another one, expecting it to go to 4% now. Didn't look at the stats, stepped into a save room. Bam! I had 5% of items. So no Insurgent. Thankfully it should be doable in an hour or so once you know how to do it so I'll try again tomorrow. BTW. the extra health didn't seem to help that much with the exploding escape. It seems more down to luck than how much health you have. I had made it to the elevator once with 200 health but screwed up the jumps. What's more annoying is that if you have 200 health you pretty much have to watch that cut-scene every time, if you skip it, you take more damage from the explosion (so much that I couldn't even get out of that big room). I know those stupid lines by heart now.

I think I'll try to do the Insurgent thing too, but maybe I should get to level 50 before? I'm currently 44.

I've completed it 4 times now and still not level 50 The first time I got about 70% (normal), second time 100% (hard), third time trying to do minimalist on Insane, but realized in the middle that I had picked up too much stuff, so spent some time getting more power-ups, probably 35%. Spider was good indeed. I should play it again to find some of the secrets i think I missed. I find Eliss to be pretty good as well. I've seen complaints that it's too hard, but it isn't for me. But it might be best played not with holding the phone in you hands, but with placing it on a table so you can use more fingers.

Do we really see that so often? I haven't noticed personally.

MY FRIEND JUST TALKED ME INTO GOING TO THE GYM!!! I don't like gyms. I like bicycling and running. But can't do that throughout the year here so I usually gain weight during winter.

Eurogamer has a new hands on story, but I can't read any more about this game. Every piece about this game seems to spoil a different aspect of the story. It feels like any more and I'll know half of the game already.

Maybe, I can't argue very well about this as I haven't played a lot of the recent games. But personally, micro-management in RTS-s usually doesn't make me feel like strategizing. But yeah, I guess genre names shouldn't be taken too literally. The "Adventure" genre name for example. An "adventure" in context of a movie is about the theme of a movie, the game genre is only about gameplay and not at all about the theme (although sometimes other kinds of games get labeled as adventure). I guess it's perfect for me then because I can well stand being spoiled by that and not play another RTS for 10 years (incl. Starcraft 2)

I played Munchkin a lot about half a year ago, but I guess everybody got tired of it as we haven't played for a while now. Sometimes play various boardgames, but not very often.

Yeah, but in most RTS-s, are there really many strategic decisions to make there? More likely you may win by being really fast at micro. At least that's the impression they have left me. Why is that?

Tried the Xbox demo as well. I think I'll wait for the PC release, seemed much better looking, with PhysX and all.

That's why I rarely play RTS-s. I think there's even conflict built into the term: Real Time Strategy. Does strategy happen in real time? More like real time tactics.Should play Company of Heroes, I got it for free with my video card and started playing it but I think I had too many other games to play at the time.

Yeah, I think I once played with some thumbs people too. I might join once in a while but I can't use my xbox any time I want due to people watching TV.
