I noticed that too, with a grimace. I don't understand why anything with personality is labeled "bizarre", and then they go on to say that the graphics aren't as good as Riddick or Halo 2 but still passable. I wonder, is aspiring to plasticy B-Movie realism a prerequisite for good graphics? Comparing Psychonauts with Halo 2 is like comparing Impressionistic with Medievil Symbolistic art. The first being completely content with its place, while the other struggles to achieve a renaissance. I hope they don't assign this game review to some boob...

Jesus fucking Christ. All this cartoon talk reminds me of the original superman cartoon. Its plots were Gulag-thin but it had a similar style to that great Batman series...

He must be talking about a newer series, because the old batman animated series was absolutely fantastic. That show was so fucking stylish, great art and sound design. I feel like wretching anytime I catch a glimpse of a newer cartoon out of the corner of my eye; it seems the whole industry has just gone and deficated on itself, trying to outdo each other with the most ass-simple art and annoying voice actors. Those fucks can go to hell, I feel sorry for today's kids. EDIT: Oh, Kolzig already posted .

And I know you can't really tell how long any level is, but generally speaking, no games have giant levels in the platforming sense...unless you're thinking of a game like 'Jak and Daxter' with loads of objectives in each area. But I don't think that's how this game's going to be. But I trust any game in production for 4 years in the hands of Schafer will be of appropraite length, at the very least.

Only thirteen levels... It's obvious from that footage that this game will be incredible though; I'm quivering in my booties with anticipation.

Wow, watched the Godfather III...Sophia Copolla is poison. But I quite enjoyed it, especially all of the Sicilia scenes with just or mostly Pacino. As for T.E. Lawrence, that guy really acted like an ass-hat. No one is that breathy when they talk. Still fit the role perfectly though (that is, the role of a breathy ass-hat).

Yeah its funny you should mention it, I've watched '2001' about 8 times; it's my favorite movie. I thought it made perfect sense too, and I find it enthralling, even the bits at the end. The thing about Lawrence of Arabia, I like it, it's just that around the part where they cross the desert (and attack that town) I become languid and incapable of processing thought. I had a similar problem with the 2nd two Lord of the Rings films, their uninspired, marathon action scenes totally drained me.

That Gene Wilder must've been out of his gourd on acid, I really enjoyed the movie (atleast last time-8-9 years ago), especially because of his performance. Man, if you can't sit through Willy Wonka you must have a problem. That movie is all about psychophantic set pieces and bizarre songs, I think it's one of the great child movies. ...if you want a hard pill to swallow try Lawrence of Arabia, I have tried twice and I can't do it.

Stand-by is basically off. When you shutdown your computer, you think it's off, but it isn't really unless you shut off the power supply. And how often do you do that?

Give me a fucking break, it doesn't overheat in stand-by mode. You'd have to be an over-protective pecker to unplug it each time....it probably broke because you were living vicariously through it.
