  1. Preorders = Bad? You decide!

^Goddamnit. Ubisoft has gone to hell. You make a great game with wonderful, original atmosphere and some of the best, most interesting characters ever in an action game, and since it doesn’t sell ten billion copies in five minutes you turn it into a carbon copy of every other game ever made and turned the main character into a flat, un-likable jackass. And not only that, but they call the character “matured”. Trust me, the original was still a little corny, but in a good way. I, personally, don't preorder because I'm a cheap bastard who waits a year for the price to go down. I currently own only one game that cost more than twenty bucks, and I got that for Christmas. That and The Sims, I think they are still selling that for forty bucks. Not worth it.
  2. Google in Klingon

When you are a simple site like Google, you have to use the few places to insert humor the best you can.
  3. Xmas games for little Jack

Go cute furry platformer, Sly 2, and cute furry platformer that blows stuff up, Rachet and Clank. Raceing? Burnout (go 2, screw EA).
  4. A riddle-y type thing.

Think, a bar of ten thousand Yufster's, all saying "Oh my god! Let's make out!". Except they only say Yufster. Crap, references non-compatable.
  5. The Incredibles sequel

I heard somewhere that Eisner may be fired soon, meaning that the people of Pixar will be less pissed off and come back to the bargoning table and make an Incredables 2 with Brad Beird on the helm possable. Or maybe it was a dream.
  6. Viva la Revolution!

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0318462/ So all those posers in the shirts they are not entitled to wear can get the needed props.
  7. Did we REALLY land on the moon?

http://www.braeunig.us/space/hoax.htm Read this if you want it to be made clear. Yes there are hoaxes, yes there are conspiracies. This just isn’t.
  8. I was more of a kit guy, following the instructions to the dot, making shure the little ax on the side of the fire truck was the exact right place. My parents are engineers.
  9. Spam spam tomato and spam

I wonder just how much they have sold from spam? Is it worth the expense? Wait... Damn free advertising, making annoying us worth it. It’s a free Internet sadly, and anyone can do what they please. Little tip: If you want to not have any damn spy bots get your email adress it is best to not have your email adress on any web pages. I don't have mine on any web pages and I get very little.
  10. If done right it could be like newsgameing where they make a political point, that the JFK assassination was not a conspiracy put actually a guy shooting a gun and hitting a target. Done wrong and it’s a load of crap.
  11. Halo2 WTF?!

Well, if your looking for halo 3... http://www.gamespot.com/news/2004/10/08/news_6110134.html
  12. Game Packaging

^ Yea, but it never pops it up enough. I may have fat fingers, but I can't seem to get it out without tipping it. Stupid design.
  13. The horror of working for EA

I looked up dichotomy at Dictionary.com, I thought about it, pondered till my head exploded, and I still have no idea what the hell you are talking about. I feel week. I'm going to lay down for a while. And finish my speach on Shrodinger’s Cat.
  14. Game Packaging

For some strange reason the ps2 cases I have are designed in the oddest way. They put a sort of ring around the disk and put little depressions in it that you would supose were for puting your fngers in to take out the disk, BUT NO! They put anouther little ring around it forcing you to praticly hold it upside down so the disk comes out when you press the center. Brillant.
  15. Happy Birthday, Spaff!

  16. Ratchet & Clank: Up Your Arsenal

I personaly don't see why these games are prased for their humor, for I find it to be at various levels of dumbass, but they have been getting better at it. I wouldn't pay fifty dollars for it, but then again I haven't paid fifty dolars for a game in years.
  17. Why you should use Firefox

-no, but you can move the icons themselves, not the links, to any of the bars. -and I don't know crap about temp archives. Someone mentioned before about new windows opening in tabs, and I couldn't find that, but on any link that I press with the scroll button it opens in a new tab. I like that.
  18. Happy Birthday, Spaff!

Note: The follwing is crap. Don't read it.
  19. uhm...the bible...anyone?...

I think that christian conservitives are a odd bunch. I think that one time in the gospels Jesus says not to bring god into human matters, but we still swear on the bible in court cases. And the same people trying to woo the Christan vote are for the government breaking the Ten Comanments. It's like they were too lazy to actualy read the thing.
  20. The horror of working for EA

They could pay a consultant a million dollars to take away the psychological barrier and get you to read the news page, or they could just do it like most small sites and put the news first and make the news show the new articles. Or they could pretend that they are a big site that actually updates more than once a week. I still love you guys though
  21. Playstation 2 Exclusives

I own sly and ratchet and I must say they are produced well. Sly feels like Rayman mixed in with metal gear, it's weird but it works. And if you like the cartoony but not annoying feel, the better. Ratchet, 2 and beyond, is beast of it's own, a game that controls like a platformer but with the ability to sidestep means you can blow things up in a very fun, fast way. But the cartoonyness is to the point of annoyance, they try to be funny and end up looking like idiots. But unlike other stupid games the bad sense of humor doesn't distract from the fine tuned and excellent gameplay. Katamari Damacy just works, okay? It's a parody of modern consumerism, just roll up more stuff for no reason because some threatening, impatient, sob tells you too. And the game controls with the physics mastery of Gish, and the levels are well designed and challenging. And can you hate a game where a guy hums the theme song on the copyright screen?
  22. The horror of working for EA

Ummmmmm... http://forums.idlethumbs.net/showthread.php?p=19199 Sorry man, you've been beat.
  23. Playstation 2 Exclusives

Amplitude is pritty cool too, if you like rythium games and stuff. And I liked Spy Cooper. Give cartoon raccons a chance!
  24. Damn good article/book. Edit: What the hell, the link was right before! I don't know what that altavista crap was. This link works now too.
