Also, in-line spoiler tags are broken.

Very early on, at the blown-up , after you've turned off the , there's a huge controlled by a . I had to it and mess with the to get it open.
  3. Whatever you do, remember it needs to be in stereo.
  4. Sounds like you have things under control. Hopefully at some point the low-fidelity sound quality will be raised to something matching the broadcast-level multi-feed-switching visuals with sweet digital effects and full on-screen lockboxing (FO5LB™).
  5. I thought I wouldn't mention the fact that you'll get away with more roughness when it's live, but now that you have – I appreciate that, but your podcasts are pre-recorded, edited and polished; Do you consider the video content somehow outside the core franchise product market quadrant, or is it just a lot more work to edit video stuff (I really have no idea.) Your site isn't up yet, so I don't know to what degree you'll integrate the Twitch stuff with your other content. Will it be part of the core franchise product market quadrant, or will it remain just some weird external stuff on the Twitch network? Anyway, as I said, it ended up great (I imagine you'll eventually figure out the lagging weirdness too – what was that?). I still would prefer a more polished thing, of course, but as I said, the recorded live stuff is great as well. Oh, and I didn't catch that chat questions triggered some of the interesting stuff, which is great. I still think you should look into getting a better audio setup (I'm imagining you're going to do a ton of these things here) – it was really hard to pick up what you two were sniggering about back there.
  6. Sid Meier's Civilization V

I'd also be interested. I have one question. Will a player being terrible ruin the game for everyone else? Question number two: is this a synchronous thing? Can it be played in parts? How long does it typically last? Will I be able to tell my friends about my final score on Twitter and Facebook?
  7. I just finished watching the recordings, and this is great stuff. I've previously said I wish you'd do more video content, and this is exactly the kind of stuff I had in mind! Not you sitting in a sofa being uncomfortable, but interesting content that can only be done with video. I loved it! A comment on the live thing: As I keep repeating, I'm not a huge fan of the whole live chat thing. I don't mind it, but it's a bit too hectic and hilarious, and hasn't in my experience really added anything to the little you've done. If it was up to me (and I know it isn't) I'd probably prefer a more polished pre-recorded thing, maybe with better audio quality. Maybe that wouldn't have changed anything, and maybe it being live gives it some quality I'm missing – I don't know ... Anyway, it's up to you, and I'm sure you have some numbers to indicate how popular the live stuff is vs. how popular the downloads are. I thought all of it was funny and interesting, and I'd definitely watch more of the same, or other people playing other games whilst talking about them or other things.
  8. This season, or the next one, is the last, though right?

    No CPP?! Those bastards.

Hah, got it! I'm always annoyed when puzzles use physical metaphors or motifs, but have solutions that don't fit them. I would probably have gotten this faster if it didn't look like electronics.

I've struggled with the fuse box for four or five hours now, and I just realised that .
  13. Resonance

It's the one very early on where you have to according to some system I sat hours with last night trying to figure out. If anyone has a tiny hint for me, I would appreciate it.
  14. Resonance

God damn it, this fucking fuse box!
  15. Don't you think "real, religious people" online deserve basic human decency?
  16. Resonance

It's out. I've played about twenty minutes, and I'm already in love with its old-schoolness. Pretty graphics and hacking cyber-terminals aww yeahhh.
  17. Microsoft Surface

Yeah, I'm sort of expecting they'll end up doing a Microsoft. I'm not sure I'd compare the ARM and i5 versions to Home and Pro, though – the difference in architecture isn't artificially constructed to hit all the quadrants for max damage – they're in two different market segments, like iPads and ultrabooks. I see how they couldn't simply drop either one of those, even though I agree it might end up hurting the brand. One could argue they're too different to be two different models of the same product. When competing with ultrabooks (which I understand they are) you *have* to have a good keyboard solution. The keyboard/trackpad cover is both an awesome talking point – I can see it hitting that sweet point where you want an iPad for its portability between important business meetings, and don't want to drag a bluetooth keyboard and stand with you. I like it.
  18. Xbox 720

Oh, I didn't notice the "mobile" part. Yeah, those are definitely not hard to understand. My comment was based on my hearing about download caps on landline connections both in the US and Canada. Of course, this might just be the result of my not noticing "mobile" on many different occasions.

  20. Microsoft Surface

Yeah, they're just using the Surface name, but it's not even remotely related to the original Surface project, at least hardware-wise. I doubt there's much actual software from it, since it's using a completely different touch system.
  21. Your Nord is pitch perfect.
  22. Xbox 720

The fact that, in 2012, download caps are being added to internet connections, and not removed, is crazy to me. I get the impression it's becoming more and more common in North-America – why aren't people up in arms (or are they?), and why isn't some clever internet provider swooping in and clearing out the market with their uncapped connections?
  23. @IdleThumbs says: I'm not sure exactly what this means, but if it sounds interesting, it should start in about half an hour from now.

    I'm sorry, I have performed a mistake.
