I don't know exactly what they've changed or improved, but I know it boots up faster and uses less system resources than 7. I also assume they've been working on a lot more than just this horrible new interface, and if the change from Vista to 7 is anything to go by, I think it's fair to expect things to be generally better. I got the impression reviewers were getting equal and sometimes better performance out of the same hardware when running on beta drivers, so I assume they've made some improvements to whatever systems are involved in video games too, such as sweet graphics, kick-ass sound and triple-A playability for maximum game points.

Well, if I'm lot lying, it's pretty cheap and it has a bunch of optimisations and improvements. I'm really looking forward to it, with the single exception of this UI thing, which I'm still not sure if is an actual thing or just noise and bullshit.

Okay so: I don't know anything about guitars. I don't know how to hold it, which end is up, which thing does what, how to act around it, etc., but if, and only if, I buy a regular electric guitar like a ERIC CLAPTON AND MARK KNOPFLER DUAL-SIGNATURE MEXICO EDITION FENDER STRATOCASTER, and this adapter you're talking about: Will I be able to play the guitar?

Frog Fractions: Learn all about fractions with this educational title?

I played it, and I gave up after a million hours of toggling auto-targeting on and off? Is that it, this hilarious comment on unlockable powerups? -
It is now! We are now!

Drawback ... ? Flash ... Backflash? I can't remember the name of this thing, but it'll back up all your files all the time. Check it out!

So, this is out (or will be soon). Any expectations? I wasn't really looking forward to it, but now I'm hearing they've basically just improved on every flaw of the first one. I was always going to buy it, but now I'm that much more excited to!

Sure, but even the most consumer-hostile of laws/shops/manufacturers give you at least a couple of years, no?

If the SSD breaks, can't you just send it back and get a new one?

God damn it. I finished the first quest, but the stress of not knowing if I've killed or alerted anyone is terrible. I wish they didn't have those achievements, or that they had a better feedback system for it, or that I were able to not obsess about stupid achievements.

Just do what I do: never produce anything of worth, and you'll never have anything to lose. Or do backups, maybe. What was that good backup service again? Backflash ...? Backdraft? Flash... flow... anyway, there was this one that backed up all your stuff automatically. Just get that, and you can run on the worst, most unreliable piece of shit SSD you want.

It's out, and everyone is rushing to play and praise it. I still can't get past the ultra-violence, and from what I hear it's not really doing anything interesting with it, either. Any comments or mini-reviews, those of you who've given it a shot?

I'm supremely confident that movie is going to be a turd, but, like a moth to a flame, I'm drawn to everything having to do with parallel, corrupted realities, especially the kind Silent Hill has been about. Metal and flesh, bandages, things out of place. I have to watch this.
