The ananas (pine apple) lonkero long drink cans. Only Finnish people call long drink lonkero. Also it didn't say alcohol on the can, but alkoholi.
I don't remember exactly this for a fact, but I think long drink itself is invented by Hartwall in Finland, for the 1952 olympic games?

Oh wow, there's so incredibly much attention to detail in Tacoma, even more than in Gone Home.
I laughed so much when I saw a reference to Finland.

This was released like 2,5 years ago, I wonder will the full OST be soon in Bandcamp/Spotify etc?

Reviews have started to appear. Going to look for purchasing Tacoma for sure, though I may have to wait a bit.

Why is Harrison Ford still acting? All of his major roles have been really bad in the past almost 10 years.
Does he even get good salary at this point in his career?

LA Game Space ended up missing entirely on some of the games they mentioned in their Kickstarter project. Also lack of communication about things after the Kickstarter was finished.

Big Ed was finally mentioned at least! And shots fired there, so next episode we will maybe know what's up?
Damn good episode and pie.

Rayman Legends Definitive Edition is coming on 12th September. Apparently there's a demo out already on the EU eShop; to access it simply find the game's tab in the 'coming soon' section and open it up, you'll then see an option to download the demo.

This doesn't sound good.
QuoteIt's something of a faff, and it doesn't look like it'll be worth it - at present, you can only take part in private battles, and the voice chat itself seems extremely limited. Unlike with Skype, if you flick aside to another app on your phone, you'll lose the ability to talk to your friend. So, if you need to head to an IM client as I did, to figure out with a friend exactly how to make sense of it all, you're fresh out of luck.I don't understand Nintendo's online adventures, this is the 3rd online generation now for Big N and everything seems still so complicated for them.

The name of the Miriam in end credits is different last name than the one on the envelope.
Sullivan in end credits and Hedges on the envelope.

So yeah, did Chad steal the wrong letter?

Yeah, compared to the latest Fire Emblem's limited edition that is in every Finnish shop's shelves unsold because nobody wants Shadows of Valentia. Metroid stuff is wanted items.

I kind of was interested in getting the Metroid 2 limited edition set, but of course it is sold out everywhere two months before the actual release. Why does Nintendo always manufacture like five copies globally about these sets?

There's still no Audrey or Big Ed in the show after ten episodes! That is just crazy that they are still the main cast members not reintroduced in S3.
And the only thing we know about James is that he is cool and has always been cool.

The Johnny talking bear has got to be the podcast opening for this episode. They recast Johnny's actor? I wonder what was the reason for that? Maybe Robert Bauer quit acting? Well, actually it seems this new guy is the third actor to play Johnny. In the pilot there was another actor who played Johnny, different than other episodes in S1&S2.
Frost and Lynch have really scripted Richard Horne to be an absolute bastard. A small fish who is just a worthless piece of shit wrecking stuff around. Chad is even lower scum.
I so loved the Albert scene, feels so good to see him finally enjoy something. Also of course Nadine has to have a silent drape runner store. That's her life goal.
Jayne-E having sex with Dougie/Coop was funny, the kids face when he wakes up and realizes what is happening in his parents bedroom.

Not my kind of game, but great to see more bigger 3rd party games appearing on Switch. The return of wrestling on Nintendo platform.

So my company apparently will take robots in use at a warehouse. This is a small quote from the news that they announced:
QuoteThe autonomous mobile robots have a loading capacity of 78 kilograms and can cover a distance of two metres per second. When the battery life of maximum nine hours comes to an end, the freight robot independently makes its way to the charging unit. The intelligent robots recognise their location and surroundings, and can differentiate between dynamic and static obstacles, thus enabling evasive action to work safely with and around people.
So, since it can carry 78kg, it can easily kill humans and carry the bodies away so that nobody notices?

This looks like a really intense rhythm game, great music track in the trailer. Apparently from indieszero, the creators of NES Remix and Electroplankton.

Cars 3: Driven to Win is apparently coming to Wii U this week in both physical and digital form. For sure that game is shovelware, it has to be.
But just to update you guys, the Wii U ain't dead yet for 3rd party.

Finished Syndicate the boring fps reimagining version from Starbreeze and EA. Had this on my list for ages, but finally played it through. Short game and quite boring as I had feared. I love the original Bullfrog game so Syndicate in my mind has a high bar to reach to be good.
The story was your typical scifi fps story and the ending was a let down for me. Also I'm not a fan of the musics at all. The dubstep of the original theme annoys me so much.
It was a relatively short game, just 6-8 hours long, I think.
The game itself was surprisingly easy and had no tough challenge in the small boss fights, but the final boss fight was crazy. The difficulty raised to insane in that final fight.
I also didn't really like that it had those later COD style moments where you are not in control and the game just forces you to press a certain button for a long time for something to happen. The health in the game is also modern boring fps style in that you have regen health.
The Max Payne style slow motion was fun, it's always fun and I never get tired of it. It was also well implemented in Syndicate. There were this very lightly built rpg elements where you learn new skills through upgrades, but those didn't really have much change in the actual gameplay. Just your health is bigger or weapons reload slightly faster or slomo time is longer etc.
Graphically the game looks really like a Blade Runner or Deus Ex. There is a feel of dystopia in many scenes and the game looks really nice when you get to see sometimes more than just regular corridors or air ducts.
