I have a great region free DVD player, I have no need for console with such DVD capabilities.

I think most of all the stuff is pre-rendered.

I just watched the PoP3 E3 trailer from Gamespot. They really can't control themselves at Ubisoft, now can they? The story is even worse than in WW. And the rage is definitely still there.

Revolution is mainly intended for gaming purposes. It's not intended to be home entertainment unit that makes you waffles and coffee.

So anyone still want to say that D3 engine can't handle big outside levels?

The game pits humans vs invading Strogg forces, as they battle for control of Earth. Quake Wars promises strategic gameplay, persistent character promotions, day and night-time battles, and vehicle support. As the invasion begins, players choose to battle as one of five unique classes in either the EDF (Earth Defense Force -- humans) or the barbaric alien Strogg armies, each augmented with specialist weapons and combat hardware. Troops utilize over 40 conventional and futuristic vehicles, deployable structures, and defense systems like quad-bikes, tanks, and alien walkers for epic ground assaults; or helicopters and anti-gravity ships to lend firepower from the air. Throughout each battle, teams establish bases, deploy defense structures, artillery, radar, and advanced forward-command systems into enemy territory while constructing and demolishing obstacles to speed progress and gain a tactical advantage over the enemy. Unlike Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory, this won't be a free download. No release date is mentioned either, but that isn't terribly surprising considering id's involvement.

Those videos were great, I also like to thank you Scummbuddy. I just loved the story concerning the warehouse thing with Monkey Island.

9:18 am: Iwata takes stage. Introduces Revolution. Holds up the tiny, Mac Mini-sized unit. Crowd cheers. Says it's the smallest console Nintendo has ever manufactured. Says the final machine will be even smaller than the concept unit he's holding. Can stand horizontally or vertically. Revolution will play 12cm (DVD) discs (and GameCube software, too). Added attachment can be used to play movies and other DVD content. Machine has 512 MB of onboard flash memory for data storage. 9:20 am: "When you turn on Revolution and see the graphics, you will say 'wow!'" "Our competitors have detailed the power of their core processor and display. But the advantages of our technology will also have no bearing on gameplay. I know, this is one of those mysterious comments," he says. Says wifi will be built into every Nintendo product so controller, TV, console, and internet can interact. Nintendo intends to develop a device that's functional and appealing to every member in the household -- whether gamers or not. All controllers will be wireless. Also, the controllers will be very unique "in ways we will share with you... later." Already working on several wifi games for launch. Smash Bros. will be launch game -- wifi. 9:24 am: For Revolution, "Miyamoto is challenging his teams to create something new." His new creation will debut with Revolution. Big franchises will of course be there -- including new versions of Mario and Zelda. Short Metroid Prime 3 clip showing Samus standing in front of her redesigned spaceship. "We expect strong third-party support in both hemisphere." For example, Square Enix is already working on Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicle for Revolution. 9:27 am: Iwata: Convinced game development on Revolution will be easier and far less costly than for other machines. "Big idea can prevail over big budget." Revolution is a solution to help maximize creative freedom. Iwata then talks about backward compatibility. "Redefining term of backward compatability." It's a virtual console, able to download 20 years of Nintendo content. You will be able to Download NES, Super NES and N64 games. You can get every Nintendo game ever made. "Revolution shares a vision with DS. The machine is just a tool for software."

The biggest surprise is still a secret. The controller. If that is revealed successfully, Nintendo will hit it Big.

Oh man it looks sweet, and SMALL in a good way. This is something that gets my attention. The best part is, that it looks a lot different from the rest, not at all like those other two silver spiderman mac consoles. Nintendo

No he wouldn't, Mr. T has hair.

I got such genes that I just can't get fat. Never. Even if I ate all kinds of shit like pizzas everyday. I don't even know what Cheetos are, I've never tasted MD and I don't have a Xbox, so no Halo 2 for me, thanks.

Just buy some cheap 8€ headset, it won't cost you much.

The Xbox reloaded at Wired. One thing that I surely agree with that article is that when I saw that new J.Allard pic in Idle T, the first guy that came to my mind was REM's Michael Stipe. Allard looks like a clone of Stipe.

Happy Birthday!

Alec Matias: "Overly-excited Xbox 360 engineers discussing the hardware. Trust me, this six minute clip is twenty times more informative than the MTV show." http://www.fileshack.com/file.x?fid=6948 Hey, it's everybody's favourite guy Mr. Allard speaking in that video.

http://www.1up.com/do/feature?pager.offset=0&cId=3139477 1up has a feature by Nadia Oxford. In the feature Nadia thinks back on all the classic and not so classic animated shows that featured our beloved game characters such as Sonic, Mario, Link, Mega-Man etc. I remember that Captain N show somehow, at least commercials about it. And I actually think I watched every episode of Earthworm Jim from Cartoon Network when it was airing here for free in the 90's.

Gamespot's pre-E3 Prey extravaganza.

I don't get it why you and Erwin had to pay extra for the game when it was delivered to you, for example I didn't have to pay anything to the delivery guy. But I'm still waiting for GameStop's replacement disc 4...

Do I have to buy that mug now that it seems my name is on it? Hey, everyone should have a Marek gone to lunch clock, that's a killer device. -
