Played it until chapter 2 now. I'm thinking that I will see this through. Also I want to test in about a week how it will work on SLI setup. I'm doing some Christmas upgrading starting with the GPU.

Good old Amiga game originally, wasn't it?

That is one of the extra cool points of DD's Playground. I had actually forgotten that it's Al Lowe's game. -
Tried it again today morning after waking up. This time no artifacts visible. I think it was the dust that caused the problem earlier. Feels like a nice game, have to invest more time to this in the near future.

Seems that they are giving the invites quite quickly now. I have 22 invites at the moments. First ones came after a week of using, but now there's more since today.

I think 17th will propably be the "first" day, but the actual official premiere is usually on Friday for all movies in Finland. We'll be watching it on saturday 19th.

Not really been checking at the scene for a long time...

I played that game for ages when I was a happy Commodore 128 user in elementary school. Disney should get the rights for that old game and make a sequel to it with graphics that *blow you away*. -
Going to go buy tickets for the Avatar premiere weekend tonight. Even though I think the movie will be quite possibly very bad and not really for me, I will still remember that day for a very long time because that will be the first 3D movie in my little town.

What is this La-Mulana that they are talking about in the blog also? Some other game for the Wiiware? That's the first I've heard about that.

I have all the latest drivers, just recently did a fresh re-install of Windows etc. I received a good heat checking program from a friend of mine and I will run some heat tests during the weekend. Propably dust is the problem yes, I haven't done dust cleaning in quite some time inside the computer. Thanks for the advices Jayel, these will be very helpful during my testing.

I played Cave Story around the time it came out. I've been waiting for it's arrival to Wiiware for quite long time now. I will be first in line to buy it, it was supposed to come to North America / Europe already in end of October according to Nintendo's official release list, but I don't know what is going on with the development right now as it's already December now. The idea that one person coded this game in five years time is amazing. One more reason why I want to invest money in the Wiiware version, even though Nintendo will get their share also in that situation.

Was the demo of Left for Dead 2 in Steam only for limited time period? I had it in my computer as I downloaded it from Steam on tuesday. I didn't have time to check it out yet and yesterday when I started Steam with the intention to check the demo, the demo and all files regarding it where gone from the My games folder in Steam?

I finally had the chance to check Dead Space out on PC. I tried it actually today morning for a bit before I went to work. Played just the beginning about to where the main character Isaac gets the first gun and gets to shoot stuff. I wasn't that scared about anything so far, and the game does look cool and works nicely on my old computer, which is an important fact for me. But I was really damn scared of something that happened during the gameplay. I got across the screen in the middle these weird artifacts and pixels running through. I quickly quit the game and the artifacts followed to Windows. I rebooted the computer and those artifacts and pixel shit disappeared. What's going on? Does this mean my computer or some part of it at least is breaking down? How can I analyze this, I would presume I have to check the temperature levels first?

That just looks like complete waste of time. Why bother even make something generic crap like that. Looks as silly as the old Mortal Kombat and Street Fighter movies, but SF at least had Raul Julia in very weird role, too bad it was his last.

Hahahaa! I went to see Gamer in the movie theater with the wife, but we went only because it was Michael C. Hall's first movie role outside of Dexter. Basically he played Dexter again but as a multimillionaire weirdo. The movie itself was horrible crap, but Gerard Butler was ok in his role.

That's quite some list you got there. Holy crap.

The most annoying thing about currency conversions. They always cheat when it's changed to GBP or EUR. Dollar is soooo cheap these days, I really would like to go to USA and buy stuff, a lot of stuff.

For me the Game of the year has been Batman: Arkham Asylum I don't have good enough computer to play it, but I played about +30 minutes of it at a friend's place and even though my experience is relatively short with the game, I loved every second of it. No other game had that effect on me during this year.

Famitsu went and gave NSMB Wii 40/40. I think Famitsu is giving quite a lot these perfect scores these days? I haven't yet bought it as I have way too much stuff again to go through, but maybe around Christmas I'll buy it. This is one game my wife will definitely like in addition to old Mario games and Rock Band 2.

Aghhh, Ponyo *finally* arrived to my hometown to the movie theater (yes, we have only ONE movie theater, but it's getting better at least), but the copy in circulation here is the swedish dubbed version, wtf! Where's the original japanese version or at least the crappy finnish dub? Oh well, there's always the dvd version coming soon...

I saw it also last weekend with my wife and it was really shitty movie. I didn't have any expectations about it, didn't even really want to see it, but my wife did so we went to watch it. Both of us shared the same opinions about it though after we left the theater. Too long, boring, bad and all about CGI. Great news though on the theater front, my home town theater will finally and very surprisingly get a 3D movie theater! Apparently they will get some quite cool projector that can do about 4x the resolution of fullHD? I haven't followed up on movie projector technology so I don't know were they lying or not...

I did own the original Another Code for DS and bought the Wii sequel for that and I was really excited with Hotel Dusk when it was still to be released but not yet out. Then when it came out I kind of started to lose interest quickly. I've always thought myself as a similar type of person Jake described himself, but I just couldn't. I did try the game once but naahh... that was all about this game. Looks cool, but isn't that good as a game. I also have a kind of fear that I will somehow get excited about this sequel and then just crush all my hopes and dreams about it by actually playing it.

Congratulations Stevan/Kingzjester! I hope all your preparations for the wedding will go nicely. It's going to be one hell of unique day for you when you get married, I had my day in this year's June. We got my wife's parents coming from Japan and it was pretty sweet day even though the preparations were like hell because of tight schedule. We had the chance to do the invitation in two languages so we put it out in Finnish and Japanese. It was wicked cool to do that, I can imagine yours is even more amazing with three! Couldn't had survived it without our families help (especially my brother's wife and my sister). I'm really thankful that mine and my wife's parents were not pain in the ass when we were making our quite low-key wedding preparations. How big will your wedding be now then? Mine was only 40 people, because I have a small family and none of my wife's friends or family from Japan could unfortunately not attend, with the exception of her parents of course. We are supposed to have a second low-key party in Japan next summer, but I have no idea how that will turn out to be... Those are quite some parents-in laws you have, good luck with them and try not to let them have control over the day in December.
