I have faith in Matt Groening to make tv show shine again. I've always loved Futurama more than the Simpsons. The tv movies were not as great as the tv show, but now that they are back to the 22 minute regular show format I'm very sure that things will pick up again.

Yeah, you could be right. I'd like to see the 3DS myself, some shaky cam vids of the Metal Gear Solid interactive demo look great!

I am a bit worried about the technical specs of the 3DS. Powerwise it is supposed to be a "portable Gamecube", BUT even though the upper screen is 3,5 inches which is is a nice size, the resolution is 800x240, but really 400x240 "times twice" because of the 3D. 3DS: 132ppi DS Retro: 107ppi DS Lite 100ppi The upper screen is not true widescreen, more like 15:9 said one friend of mine. The touch screen is 3" and resolution 320x240. But still that was a whole lot of great news from the big N.

It was a shame that Zelda presentation didn't really go like they planned, Shigsy was really fucking pissed because of that, he was just keeping that basic Japanese gameface on to not show it straight. The last 3DS video was really funny with Iwata, Shigsy and Reggie, and what the hell, there was Starfox also briefly there in that video? Could this mean a Starfox 3DS game is coming? I don't think they would just put it there without a reason? Nintendo totally dominated the whole show, I better start saving up the cash because there's a crapload of stuff I will buy. Zelda, Kirby, Epic Mickey (this one is for sure, holy crap it looked so much better than the first pics from last year), Retro Studios' Donkey Kong Country, Kid Icarus and all the other 3DS games... No mention of Rayman there, but I have to hope it will come to Nintendo's turf also.

Time to replay Rayman on Sega Saturn and Rayman 2 on Dreamcast.

Yeah, it does look really sweet. I think this actually does deserve it's own thread. I did write about it in the morning to the Beyond Better & Evil thread, but it propably gets drowned there. The rumours that we heard previously seem to point this in Ancel's direction, but there are no facts yet as far as I know.

Yeah I guess the link has some tag to Kotaku, I did pick it up first from their rss news feed in the morning. A bit crappy site, but many times they seem to be first to notice about stuff. That's why I keep that site in my list of rss feeds.

On other news I love playing Rez with the VGA mode enabled on my old trusty Dreamcast. Only thing missing is a widescreen mode. Oh I wish this Child of Eden would come to all the three consoles, that looks really cool. (I'm starting to sound like broken record when the Wii misses games like this) I think Mizuguchi, my old idol doesn't really like the Wii. He hasn't created even one game for it, but he doesn't hate Nintendo as his company has supported the DS with good games. Actually there was some project he was rumored to be working on for the Wii, but that was something like 1,5 years ago that I last heard of it. Jeez, this Child of Eden should be played like in that trailer, in a huge room where all the walls project the game and every wave of your hands transforms in to the game.

Yeah, the market for adventure games is quite small, except for Telltale games? But at least on my personal Christmas schedule the game would get buried under a lot of other stuff, there usually is a lot of other stuff that I have going on around Christmas.

I hope Gray Matter actually would come out this year, but not during Christmas. It will get buried under the big games. I was looking at some screenshots a few weeks ago, there was significant difference between the older artwork and the new. You could clearly see that they have actually advanced a lot with the project. Wasn't the developer also changed at one point?

What the hell am I thinking not mentioning PC at all. I really want to play this one. On day one of release.

It's an action MMO? Doesn't it have any kind of single player campaign? I can in that case write it off my "maybe going to play in the near future" list.

Oh I propably would if I had a 360, but as my only options are PC/Wii/DS, then I don't think there's a chance to try it out...

Finished rewatching the Firefly series yesterday. Next on the list rewatching Serenity. Firefly is still as amazing as it was the first time I saw it 6-7 years ago. Definitely a show that should've had multiple seasons instead of just 1/2 season and a movie. That reminds me, has anybody watched this new show starring Nathan Fillion called Castle? Is it any good?

Does that Panzer General game have anything to do with the old 90's PC games that were called Panzer General? Some of my friends had some hardcore floppy save file swapping duels back in junior high years ago. I remember watching those and not understanding anything that was going on.

I've always liked the third one, the first one was also great with the voice acting and Mark Hamill being there and I never liked GK2's way of going to crappy actors and FMV even though the story is pretty nice with Neuschwanstein castle. Truth to be told, I've only completed the first two as always when I start playing the third one, at some point my save game files disappear. I don't know what is with that and how it happens? Maybe all my PC's hate Gabriel Knight 3. But the third one has a lot of charm that it keeps pulling me back in from time to time.

LFUETdcqMyA Well, I don't really know what to say. It's not X-Com and nothing in it reminds me of X-Com, but I know this game will sell a ton just because of the name. I hope so much that they would change the name, but I know Take 2 will not, because this is a pure money making decision. They have to maximize the income.
