Saw Hamburg and I really want to go back there someday as a tourist and not on a work related mission. I only saw conference rooms, the hotel room and the view of Hamburg from inside a taxi. A really nice city and all of Germany seemed very friendly and warmly welcoming. Co-workers were joking a lot that we should've gone to check Reeperbahn and Herbertstrasse, which we did not actually do. Flight was pretty much horrible Vaasa-Helsinki-Copenhagen-Hamburg and back Hamburg-Copenhagen-Stockholm-Vaasa. These were all done with tight spaced small airplanes... Came back during friday-saturday night just in time for my birthday. Birthday was actually pretty regular stuff, no partying. I just stayed at home and played some Mario with my wife and got two nice movie books from her as present.

Idle Thumbs 51: Burnin' Down the Wolfman [Now with Video!]
Kolzig replied to Jake's topic in Idle Thumbs Episodes & Streams
I saw a dream where the video of The Last Fast Show aka Idle Thumbs 51: Burnin' Down the Wolfman was uploaded to the net on Christmas Eve 2010. But one choice outside of the dream is the release date of Epic Mickey. Warren Spector promised there will be tears! -
I think the collisions between co-op players cause more laughter than any kind of anger in New Super Mario Bros Wii. It's hilarious to cause by accident something totally unexpected.

If I sleep over eight hours, I'm totally way too tired the whole day and the whole morning feels like I'm half sleeping all the time. If I sleep even more the condition just gets worse. That is why I think my body has propably adjusted to being enough to sleep five to seven hours instead of over eight hours.
-
Talking about sleeping, I should propably sleep more. I've slept for the last eight years about five to six hours every night. Isn't the normal time of sleep usually over eight hours? I'm propably using my body/mind wrong anyway so I'll be in a coffin before I'm 50.

I watched Godfather part II finally yesterday. Took it's sweet time, I've been supposed to watch that since 15 years ago. I don't agree that this one is better than the first one like many seem to say, but everything was stilll top quality. Acting, cinematography, musics... why I didn't watch this before, that is a question that will haunt me for a long time. The movie is over three hours long, but I felt like time just flew by. Robert de Niro was great as the young Vito "Marlon Brando" Corleone! Should say propably more about this great movie, but as usual I'll keep it short. We also watched a tv movie called Flowers to Algernon, with Matthew Modine playing a man called Charlie Gordon, who is retarded, but wants to be a genius. Then a surgery makes him become more than a normal person, like a genius who goes beyond any level set by other brightminded people. This was a pretty low budget tv movie, but I heard from my wife that the book that this movie is based on was a huge hit in the 90's around the world. The book was telling the story in a really unique way as a diary, but the movie is just like any movie, just telling the story.

We started playing finally New Super Mario Bros Wii with my wife during the weekend and it's so damn awesome to play when you are not playing it alone! It also helps if the co-op player who is playing with you is totally excited about the game. I have some others that are not so fun to play when the other one isn't as excited as you are about it...

I just put DeathSpank as my choice as I'm in love with that game right now. World of Goo is another great choice. Of course those that you have already started should be finished first or those will haunt you forever.

Still using ICQ the most (through Miranda IM), but I've written down the number to Gmail as an email, I would never remember it otherwise, couple friends stopped using ICQ a long time ago already because they forgot their numbers and some created like four accounts because they always forgot the number.

I remember seeing some episodes of Boston Legal maybe year ago (the original episodes propably aired in US a longer time ago) where he was also guest starring. He was great in that role also.

Hmm yeah, they removed it from youtube, but other copies of the clip are popping up in Youtube. I watched another one last night with my wife. Also someone created a pretty cool BttF4 fake trailer out of that with old Marty back in action. like this one is the real remade teaser: PLuGXleVftI Here's another one if the bastards of Viacom remove that one also:

I think the only game me and my brother had back in the Amiga days was Treasure Island Dizzy. I do have a memory in my head that Commodore 64 had some Dizzy games also and we had one of those also?

I played around a bit yesterday evening before going to sleep and those were some of the best minutes I've had in long time while playing a game. I will have to find more time around the weekend to really start playing the game. The writing is excellent.

Your suggestions were great, we really enjoyed Vertshuset Skarven and BlåRock. We walked around the city centre and didn't walk over the bridge or too far away as there was "a snowstorm" during our visit. We checked many museums (Polaria was the most important of course) and also went to Ølhallen, but didn't have time for the brewery tour as it was only once per day. The city was quite nice, the size is about the same as my hometown, around 60000 people. One thing that I was a bit surprised about was the gasoline prices, quite high? Doesn't Norway have it's own pretty big oil industry? I knew already that most prices are high because everybody's wages are higher than in for example Finland so living costs would also be high. I think we should've used more money on the hotel though, there were some really nice looking places in the middle of the centre, instead we chose one place a few kilometers outside the city centre and that place was more like a hostel.

Installed the game yesterday, hopefully during the weekend I get some time to play it for the first time. This one goes to the top of the "to play" list

Brodyquest was crazy! Prague clock celebration was awesome! The cellphone video was pretty stupid. The guy was just pimping his films in the beginning and end with the excuse of talking about Chaplin's great classic movie on the side.

The glorious Deathspank for PC day.

Oo, I got the exact situation almost, my wife doesn't like any 3D games because she gets also some motion sickness, that's why she only likes 2D games like old Mario Games, New Super Mario Bros Wii and then stuff on DS like Kirby Canvas Curse, New Super Mario Bros etc. We tried playing Mario Galaxy together but it just doesn't work for her... She doesn't care about Pokemon though, even though she is from Japan.

Good luck mate! Have fun, the timing for the weather etc should be perfect around now in Japan.

Hehheh, I have to add though that the roads in Lapland and especially in Norway were amazing! None of that straight road crap, all the roads were curvy and really challenging, no way in hell I could fall asleep while driving, also the majestic (only 1km) tall mountains were awesome! Also there were no traffic cameras around except two cameras close to Tromsø. Also it was so much fun to drive around near the fjords. I want to get a summer cottage from somewhere up North someday in the future. And if any are wondering why I think 1km mountains are awesome, the biggest hill around this area where I live is like 50m tall so this is very flat area, kind of like the Netherlands I think. The underground tunnel to Nordkapp/Honnigsvåg was quite something, 8km long tunnel that went about 200 meters under the Arctic Ocean. We managed to do everything in Tromsø that Hermie suggested plus more, with the only exception being the mountain lift. The weather was so bad that we wouldn't have seen anything.

Well, hopefully it will be at least some kind of hit. I'll buy this only in Steam if/when it comes. There is no Halloween in Finland, except for the really lame and cheap forced Halloween that the shops and bars have tried to bring to Finland for some years now. There are no good costumes or other gear ever sold in shops and nobody bothers to make their own costumes. Also there are no trick or treaters here. During easter we get witches to come for candy/money behind the doors, but almost none of those even happen these days. I guess people/parents are scared or something. In Japan they have some pretty wild Halloween happenings and parties in bars and certain areas thanks to the US marines that occupy the insanely large army camps in all the major cities.
