I'm finally closing in on completing this game after over four months of on/off playing. I'm pretty sure I'm in the end of the game as I don't know how many endings there are actually to this game, I got to one of those earlier already, but I guess that wasn't "a real" ending, or it could be considered a bad ending or something like that. There seems to also be weapon choices during the game and also two different Boosters.

Julian Gollop narrates a new gameplay trailer: NJxcD8t2CFY I have a feeling the Tom Clancy Ghost Recon name will hurt the sales quite a lot. This would be a lot better with a unique property name.

To add something about Rango, the beginning was awesome. I especially loved the bit where they had the cameo from Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. Hunter S. Thompson said something, but I'm not sure was it Johnny Depp acting again as Hunter.

Saw Rango during saturday. Sweet movie, didn't know that Industrial Light & Magic can still create good stuff. The Spirit of the West was my favourite scene. What annoyed me a lot was that though the theater was packed with only about 15-20 people, ten of those were kids.

Rodi, Here are the most straight places to donate. I got these links from my wife when I asked. http://japanplatform.org/E/index.html http://www.jrc.or.jp/english/relief/l4/Vcms4_00002070.html I think Red Cross in Netherlands should also have an account set up for especially Japan. Though as my dad said "I don't trust the locals to send the money to the correct place" so he gave us money and we paid it straight to Japan along with our own donation.

On friday my old friend reveiled to me he had got a job from Rovio Mobile and he is moving to Espoo now. I'm super happy and also slightly depressed now. First friend to go to work to a games developer, but also one of my last friends who still lived in this town. Almost all my friends have now moved to other cities...

WAtYlc1BsK8 This is why Mario Balotelli is worth 24 million GBP I guess.

Planning to go see Rango tomorrow. I'm so happy that they actually are showing the original audio reel version and not some dubbed shit in my town. It's like they actually have realized that this is not for kids.

This is some fucking sick stuff. A work colleague told me about this, but this ain't making much news around the world even if it should. At least some US and Australian news agencies have been contacting westerners in Japan to give interviews to tv and tell them that Japan is in worse condition than it is to paint a doom and gloom picture. If they didn't then the interview was not used on tv. http://twitter.com/tokyojrock/status/48384180744224768 This is a good article.http://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/why-im-not-fleeing-japan/2011/03/16/ABQsdhk_story.html

Maximum disappointment confirmed - Prey gets a sequel

Live action teaser is a surprising decision. BVCfo6CLkb0 -
I really hate all the fear mongering that is going around in the global news in almost every country since last friday. Where is the investigative journalism? Is copy/paste and baseless rumours really the true way of journalism?

Lets get this thing on the road: -V1ZF5cNYCs Looking fine indeed. Looks like autumn (Aug-Oct) is really busy this year.

Looks amazing and even more so if that truly is the work of only a small indie dev team after only 9 months! I was thinking I'm watching a high production values Hollywood effects movie at some points. The graphics look that good.

Maximum disappointment confirmed - Prey gets a sequel
Kolzig replied to Kolzig's topic in Video Gaming
Just checked D2D webpages and it says Prey is locked for purchase only in US, UK and Canada? So I can't buy it. Well I ordered the disc based version it for few euros from a netshop so that should work in Steam. -
I suck at reading books even though it's one of the most entertaining things to do in life. I'm surprised that I have read 11 of those books as I was expecting even closer to zero, but this list is good stuff. I have to make my goal to read everything from there someday except The Da Vinci Code, Twilight and Harry Potter. Couldn't care less for those three.

All human beings should visit the museum in Hiroshima that tells about the atom bombing. The museum is something so heavy that it will be hard both physically and mentally, but everyone should be there to see what humans can do to other humans. Even the internet idiots would learn. I was there last year and I will never forget.

I'd love to own the Ball$ of $t€€l version especially with a price like this in The Hut, Amazon's price was over 10 euros more expensive in US. Shame that it's already sold out on the pre-orders... But the regular price is also pretty sweet and I think I'm going for it as I still haven't seen this one in Steam and you also get the demo through the First Access Club and that demo release should happen pretty soon as Gearbox did promise the demo to be out before the full game is out. Regular price 29,93€ I found this one out today and I'm really wondering why it doesn't have a page yet set up in Steam, even Rage has a page already can be wishlisted. EDIT: Interesting that I found the PC special version still in stock at shopto.net, but I couldn't see the shipping costs before creating an account and it was whopping 31 pounds to Finland! Not going to order with those costs... So depressed right now that The Hut didn't have this available anymore, they were giving free shipping internationally... EDIT 2: Game.co.uk ended up being the hero of the day as they still had the BoS version available for pre-order and now one set is pre-ordered to Mr. Kolzig. All the stuff in the box is not that great actually, but the artbook should hopefully be worth it. They really missed their chance when they did not include lots of documents from the previous versions of DNF. The complete development history as a bible size book would've been awesome.

I think this might be the cheapest price for Portal 2 I've ever seen: http://www.thehut.com/games/platforms/pc/portal-2-pc/mac/10215567.html

Now this would be quite something. But the price is also quite something, but it is the real guitar after all. Would love to own the keyboard and the RB3 drums for this, but the drums are not sold in Finland and there's no way I'm getting those from eBay.

We started watching about a week ago NHK's biggest show Ryomaden 龍馬伝. It ran on NHK throughout 2010. The story centers on the life of 19th century Japanese historical figures Sakamoto Ryoma and Iwasaki Yataro. I love this show. Everyone who likes historical dramas should watch this so at least this one is for Rodi.

Trains and electricity are already back up and running. Fukushima nuclear plant according to what I read had some problems and I don't know what has happened there since as it was hours ago. They found at least 300 dead persons from a beach in Sendai where the tsunami hit.

The family is ok, her friend went to their house and they are ok and we got a txt message from my father-in-law. This is a huge relief to us. Now I just hope the death toll does not rise. Even one life is too much and over 30 have been confirmed already...

Oh man I'm really depressed right now, my wife just called me and told me that she can't reach her family. I know the phone networks are down, but still this is worrying. I'm stuck at work just reading the news and this all is just so damn depressing...
-
In Japan they are supposed to have the most technologically advanced system regarding earthquake detection and tsunami detection. I don't know were people alarmed about this beforehand, I have to ask my wife about that. She can read the local news and get the best information about this.
