Wikipedia is the god, yadayadayada. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Runaway:_A_Road_Adventure Runaway Runaway 2: The Dream of the Turtle Runaway 3: A Twist of Fate What did they change with the first game, it came out two years earlier in Spain than in US and three years earlier than UK? Or did it just take that long to localize it to different languages?

Doesn't Runaway have two sequels actually? I only played the first one and I waited for that since the project was ever made public, shame that the final game wasn't that good. I sold it away right after I completed it.

The Hut is having all kinds of Nintendo and other gaming related sales now. Metroid: Other M for £9.85/11,43€ which I ordered yesterday alongside with a points card and Lumines 2 for PSP. Wii Points cards for basically half the price. 2000 points for £9.85/11,43€ 3000 points for £14,85/17,43€ Everybody's favourite GotY, Nintendogs and cats for 3DS is just £18/20€. I'm going to put the points card in good use as I still have for example Hydroventure in Wiiware shop to buy, not many good games left there that I don't yet have except that.

PSP's PSN is still "ongoing maintenance". Just checked with my handheld.
-
It's slightly funny that I can't yet do anything with PSN. I've had the PSP soon two weeks, but I got many disc games to play so I'm not missing anything. The console did update itself from the Sony server. I haven't even created a PSN id yet.

American McGee's Alice 2! Or the Return of...they don't know.

http://www.gamasutra.com/view/news/34638/American_McGees_Spicy_Horse_Gets_3M_Funding_Signs_PopCap_Deal.php Seems that Alice will be Spicy Horse's last normal game. -
The only good director from Finland that I can think of really is Aki Kaurismäki. He has made some movies that got important movie awards.
-
At least he gets his movies to the theaters. Renny's last five or so movies are straight to DVD releases.
-
I wonder how will they make the controls for PC. That video was about the Xbox version, seems to be custom made especially for gamepad controls. It looks like the guy pretty much should've died at the six minute mark, a huge steel gate flies on top of him. QTE is the name of the game.
-
I'm not going to embed that for spoiler reasons that might be there or something.
-
Whaaaaaat? You don't like Renny Harlin? He is like the god of filmmakers. Well not really, he really is just a bad director who likes them explosions.

Those were some weird voiceovers. Also lipsyncing didn't really work. Wee, last Soul Calibur games I've played are Soul Calibur 2 and Soulcalibur Legends. SC2 was ace, Sc Legends not so much. I wonder will they end up streaming this also to Wii Too because release is in 2012.

Bah, no win for Idle Thumbs I suppose. Anyway, congratulations to Payton Lane Easter. http://irrationalgames.com/insider/bioshock-infinite-name-in-the-game-winner-announced/ Us Europeans got way too weird names, boo!

Microsoft was the first publisher of Psychonauts? Got the project the funding it needed to be made in to a real game?

Completed Puzzle Agent yesterday! Great game, now I can confirm that I feel this is the best game Telltale has put out so far (mind you, I still haven't played Sam&Max 1x04--> and also ToMI, so big fail mark to me at this point ). So most likely one the unplayed games will rank up higher in the end, but that remains to be seen, cha cha! Jake and the other guy responsible for the UI have created a really clean and easily working UI. I enjoyed that very much! So thank you guys! More thoughts at Scoggings.

Finished the first game yesterday finally. I have been playing on short bits for a few months. I can just say that this is an excellent game. The best I've played so far of all Telltale games. The UI was excellent, the voice actors were in my opinion perfectly chosen, especially the voice of Nelson Tethers. Also the music and sound effects fit the game! Congrats Sean, Jake, Graham and the other developers of Puzzle Agent. A very sweet game. The variation of the puzzles was pretty wide, interestingly in the middle seemed to be the most difficult puzzles and then the easiest were at the end. I had some problems with couple of puzzles were I didn't really understand what I was supposed to do in order to solve the puzzle so I had to use all the hints to really open the mental chains to have a light bulb turn on on the top of my head. I was surprised how long the game was, I think I ended up playing quite long like 5-7 hours? I didn't spend extremely long times with the puzzles, but still I had quite many gaming sessions that usually were 30-60 minutes long. Bring on Puzzle Agent 2, I'm craving for more of this.

American McGee's Alice 2! Or the Return of...they don't know.

YW5ztZPEaw4 I'm giving this a . I love the colorful scenes of levels that pop up in the beginning part of this short video (4 seconds at 0:20-0:23), but I seriously couldn't care less if most of the game is spent in bloody wah wah levels with gore and shit. A minigun of some sort? Really? Was there anything like that in the first game, the last time I played that was about 7-8 years ago so I don't exactly remember. I remember there were knives, bloody knives. -
Interesting, retailers are putting pre-order pages for this for Xbox, Playstation AND Wii (and DS). 15th November to be the North American region release date according to Amazon. I might get to play this after all. Neat.

I've never seen scientologists in Finland though. So I guess them weirdos are only in the Scandinavian countries
-
Yeah, Google has been working on getting all the copycat games kicked out more efficiently and malware also. I think lots of people are pirating Android apps, it also doesn't help that there are artificial regional lockouts for apps in the market. Those apps work if one gets those as apk files. I have tried to support the good developers, I already bought both Kairosoft's games and I've also bought several others applications.
-
That same thing is happening with Android also.

I guess storage clearing has started as shops start their preparation for the successor of Wii. The Hut is selling Wii 2000 points cards -50%.

OT, I have Starsiege: Universe on my desk right now. I've been pondering about installing it. It includes Starsiege and the first Tribes game. Tribes is only multiplayer I guess so not really playable anymore? I have no idea how I could get it to work in Win7 64bit environment. Would really like to play Starsiege as I remember that it was supposed to have an awesome campaign with great voice actors like Mark Hamill.
