Insta-bought from Steam on the day the GTA pack came to sale. Such bullshit really these Steam price changes by region. Why can't they just be like GoG and use $ for every country. CD Projekt is even a European company so it would make sense for them to use €, but I'm happy that they use $ because that makes everything cheaper. GTA pack £4.99 and 9.99€ at the same time in Steam depending on where you live.

Just got yesterday my season package in the mail. Shame that the Hill Valley Historical Society bonus isn't more like a real book, but still looks nice. Interesting that the George McFly pic from the iPad versions was used in the book, but still not patched in to the PC version games apparently?

I have one of those blue "elephants". It does open the nose, but is pretty weird. You can buy those from the pharmacies in Finland.

Oh man... This project has really had a rocky life. I hope the developers don't give up as this project has a lot of potential to be great...

http://www.gameinformer.com/b/news/archive/2011/10/09/multiple-double-fine-announcements-coming-next-week.aspx Anyone heard any other news about this? Did this press event really happen on 14th October as I haven't seen any news reports on websites? Propably the press peeps had to sign NDA and on a certain date all of the bombs will be dropped. I really would like to hear more about this Steve Dengler character, seems like an unbelievably awesome guy.

What the hell? It's available for PC right now in Steam? http://store.steampowered.com/app/115100/ Released today? Holy shit! Why I haven't ready ANY news about a PC release, I thought DF and their publishers hated PC.

I had to try it out yesterday for around 30 minutes and yeah unfortunately I'm suffering from the ATI effect, but I'm not going to let that pull me down. The game looks awesome, some specific textures do look incredibly low res, but it's ok as long as I'm moving. The voice acting seems pretty great, I'd liked the fact that Doom3 voice guy was the president's voice in the Ark.

It Creative mode I guess? The Survival mode is still coming in the future. * Randomized worlds * Build anything you can imagine * Build with 36 different kinds of blocks * Invite and play with friends to your world (local wireless network) * Save multi-player worlds on your own phone Quite expensive, but of course you get all the updates in the future. I'm just playing around with the demo version. Maybe someday I could buy the full version when this gets more advanced. Still really great that it works even on lower end phones like mine. Notch should copy the joystick from games like Tank Hero and not use the current controlling functions. the jump button is a bit tricky though.

I installed the game yesterday, all of it's whopping 21gb plus the 700mb Sewers DLC. Funny thing was that Steam was acting all strange yesterday at least for me. I put both the Sewers code and the Anarchy edition code to Steam and for both it said Rage Sewers DLC before installing those. One installed 700mb and other just 1mb. I got all worried, but I checked the properties of Rage in Steam and both are actually listed there. Rage Authority pack is the double barrel shotgun etc. I guess. So am I right in guessing that the Authority pack is actually included in the normal installation, but can be unlocked with a key code that is unique? PS. Also weird that DNF free DLC was showing me Rage's logo when I unlocked it. My Steam is broken.

It's like Christmas again. Exactly the game I have been hoping to arrive in GoG for a long time. Frédérick Raynal, woot! Now if we could get the two Crusader games also from EA's (Origin) catalog.

Soooo, I tried yesterday the Pocket Edition from Android Market and it really works without any problems on my Huawei X5 Ideos! May be optimized for Xperia Play, but still works really nicely and smoothly. Not much to do in the demo version though...
-
Really tempted to buy it with such a price as 2,50€ is just way too little for a game like that. But when would I have time to really play it?
-
I read the same yesterday, was it from Eurogamer's news post maybe? The texture pack is +100GB and you would need a monster graphics card to run that.
-
My friend has a pretty much the same rig as you do elmuerte, but do you have a regular HDD or a SSD drive? My friend has SSD and he said he had no problems with the game. The textures load up nicely when everything comes from the fast SSD. I still haven't received my copy of the game, but at least Amazon did send it late in the afternoon on friday so it should come earliest on wednesday, I think. I have a Q6600, 4GB of RAM, ATI HD5770 and a 320 series SSD, so only the ATI card is giving me scares that will it cause problems in the end.

Is there any other way to get it except iTunes?
-
Yes, digital is the future and don't always go for the cheapest option. That's the lesson I have learned. For example price difference between Amazon.co.uk (28€) and Steam (49,95€) was almost 50%.

Sometimes I wonder what is the point of pre-ordering. I am still waiting for my copy to leave the Amazon warehouse, but they still haven't shipped it and I pre-ordered it months ago. Isn't the point of pre-order that they ship it earlier so you get it on the launch day, or for international customers maybe one day later. Now this means I will get it a lot later if they don't even ship it today and shipping estimate was yesterday...? I see it's already available for Europe in Steam, so for example if I had bought a digital copy, I could already be playing it.

I liked the new premiere of Dexter. Edward James Olmos seems have an intriguing character as does Tom Hanks' son.

I really hope you get at least some things sorted out. That does sound like a really messy situation and your parents are not making things any easier with their actions. I hope you get a job and can move to your own place. I don't know how much the rental apartments cost in Spain, but I still think if you get even a basic low level job you should be able to afford it. Even the unemployment money should cover rent and basic food things, at least in our society in Finland it's like that, but I know this country differs from others. From what I remember, I think you wrote you have a sister, and she doesn't live at home anymore? Can't you get any help from her, usually siblings take care of each other and help the one in need?
-
For once I'm happy that a game doesn't have same release date all around the world. Maybe this is for the best, so people in USA can beta test the game for us Europeans... But I'm confident that by the time my Amazon order comes by mail, the game will be fixed and ready.

I've been playing Aliens:Infestation all weekend and I can tell you also that it is a great title. I haven't actually even turned on my DS in a long time since July, but now I did and that is all thanks to Wayforward's latest creation.

I really hope this thing comes to Android and PC as well. Especially because of those commentary tracks of Campbell and Schafer. Worthy to note is that Ron Gilbert was behind this iOS app. I'm really loving the fact that Doublefine updates their old game suddenly!

Psychonauts got updated today with a pretty surprising update in Steam, eh? And yes, this is the perfect time to resurrect this thread.
-
Would add it, but I already bought all three of them earlier during a sale, even the third one which is crap!

Oh, I didn't even know that Phone Story was made now for Android after the iPhone Store controversy. Bought it now.
