Shame it's not the quad core beast of a game anymore like it was during the times when they had the Intel demonstration years ago. But if the price is right I will buy it. One obstacle is GFWL which I don't like at all. I seriously wish the game does not include GFWL.

I have trust in Nintendo that if I may someday get 3DS, that they would start selling these Embassador GBA games and other GBA games for the poor people who didn't buy the console at launch. I'd be happy to give them money for almost all of those 10 games and quite many other GBA games as well as digital download.

Good luck for Scoops in Portland and same for Chris back in SF!

I really don't need to think about ever getting an Xbox. All those few games that were earlier just for consoles are finally coming to PC. Thanks Tim and co.!

LGW53914gDk www.eggcitingnews.com Who remembers these games? I seem to remember playing one of the Dizzy games, perhaps named Fantastic Dizzy or Treasure Island Dizzy on either Commodore 64 or Amiga. Cool that Codies is revisiting their old properties, but I don't know if the new graphics look worse than the original art? I would love a pixelated look. Only for Android and iOS, but maybe they would make a 3DS and PC (Steam) release in the future. That would be sweet.

Annoying that this game doesn't seem to be available for my phone, even though my phone can surely run it as it can also run things like Shadowgun, Riptide etc. Looks like it was quite a lot modernized so that drops the interest level down.

Damn, that's a shame. They should've let Jake design the menus.
-
Not made by Bugbear anymore. Apparently the developer of this is some Dutch group. Really surprising that it just suddenly seemed to appear to Steam.

Now available for phone people. This was released yesterday for Android and iOS. Tried the demo just for fun, I have this for Wiiware and PC. Don't really need it for phones, but for casual masses this will be cool. Price only 2,50€.

Haha, yeah my fault. I should've just used this thread as the deals were not just for Black Friday last week.

Limbought! I got it when it was on sale on Saturday. Such a great game. I waited a long time for the PC version, tried the demo and loved it and now I got the game. This goes high on my list, it will not be buried in the forever growing pile of backlog games.

First I wasn't interesting in the bundle as I had everything already, but when I heard about the tech demos I gave cash immediately. Shame I can't gift just the Introversion games to someone I guess? There was a special option in the beginning before buying if I want to gift them, but I guess the Steam codes don't work now if I were to give those to a friend as I didn't choose that option. Are the codes really for your own personal use or is that more of a moral guideline? Kind of shame also that if I were to use the Steam codes now, I wouldn't get two copies of each Introversion game, and I would lose all those. I Would really like to spread some Christmas joy and send those to some old friends.

Hah, didn't remember that we had already a Dizzy discussion last year.

The first day Steam Autumn Sale deals don't excite me that much, I already own the games that are interesting.

Still stuck in the end boss fight, haven't played it in a long time because of rage quits. But, noticed Cave Story+ released in Steam now. http://store.steampowered.com/app/200900/ This looks like it's the Wiiware version, but now on PC?

Haha yes, the buybuybuybuy attitude belongs to the whole world and not just North America! I already caved in and bought the RB3&keyboard set. Now if I could only find still from somewhere the real guitar that could be plugged in to RB3 and used for real also.

Rayman is pretty much old school sidescroller. Available for PC, PS1 and Sega Saturn at least. It's quite good basic platformer. This is where you should start. Rayman was France's 32-bit European answer to Sonic and Mario. Then Rayman 2 is the great achievement, it's a really great 3d platformer. Dreamcast version is the one which I'm most familiar with, but it is available for various other platforms as well. Rayman 3 is quite mediocre and worst of the series in my opinion. I'm not really sure if Ancel had a lot to do with this one, even though he is listed as one of the designers in the project. Then all the Rabbids games are mini game spinoffs that actually dropped Rayman out after the two first games, but this Origins is a return to the true form and a real sequel/prequel to Rayman. All first three games are available in GoG for example if you are in for some PC gaming.

Soooo, this week is Black Friday right? Anyone found any great deals (especially things that are more worldwide and not regional based)? Apparently Amazon isn't limiting it to just Friday and have since Monday had stuff going on lightning sale etc. Today my eyes are mainly towards the RB3&keyboard set that should go live soon. I don't even want to know what they had earlier this week on sale.
-
I always get the feeling that they don't want Ancel to have success with his own games. Might be just my paranoia.

So this week this game comes out and in totally wrong release window which makes me really pissed. Reviews have been good, but when there's so many big hype games released around now in November, it's going to be tough for Michel Ancel. Here's an interview with him that seems recent: http://www.metro.co.uk/tech/games/882465-michel-ancel-interview-rayman-origins-and-beyond-good-evil-2

Is Samuel L. Jackson's severed arm in the game? I would be otherwise maybe interested in the game, but all that QTE killed the interest long time ago.

I don't remember if we had any kind general purchases thread, but I got a question if there are any music/podcast loving car people here at Thumbs fortress? The problem with my car is that it doesn't have AUX port. I would not need any transmitter if I had the AUX port, but as such FM transmitter seems the only solution as I don't want start opening up the dashboard and doing MacGyver tricks. The car stereo is a Toyota brand one that can't be changed. I'm searching for a way to get to listen to all the awesome Thumbs podcasts and other podcasts, music and audiobooks while driving, I would like to find what is the best FM transmitter in the market? I do have one Kensington that is plugged in to the cigarette lighter, but that works only with Apple products which I don't own anymore. I can use that with my wife's iPod during trips, but I'd like to connect my Android phone also. What would be best if the device would also include some bluetooth HF system. Rakuten group member Play.com had one yesterday for sale, but those suckers don't send stuff other than games, dvd and cd to outside of UK. I wish they would change their rules as they have some gadgets often in sale that I would like to get. The usual problem with FM transmitters is that the sound is not that good and that you can hear some static noise in the background.

You need Capcom/Flagship for that.
