Kojima Productions reanimated corpse comes to life!

I just personally wanted Itakagi and Inafune to make something else than a new Castlevania or Megaman, but truthfully speaking I still backed both Kickstarters so yeah I am not fully dissappointed, yet. -
I am so happy that Bayonetta made it in as the last character and the winner of the Smash Ballot! That means I am a winner, my choice won!

http://store.steampowered.com/controller/update/dec15 Steam community seems to a pretty big part of the picture regarding the updates. Can't really say the same about any other controller in the market.

'The Swindle' from Size Five Games for PC and consoles
Kolzig replied to Ben X's topic in Video Gaming
Definitely will be getting The Swindle at some point, still not sure will it be PC or Wii U as my choice of platform. Just so much stuff in life on going right now that I haven't had the chance yet.- 103 replies

Yes, I'll have to study it more, as said I have been just playing around a bit with Broforce. I hope the settings become even more advanced in time when Valve releases new firmwares.

Damn it, but computers have become really complicated
Kolzig replied to Erkki's topic in Idle Banter
I am not expecting next year with any great anticipation because of the news that Microsoft will start to force Windows 10 upgrade installation on people. I do not want to be bothered by all members of my family that something weird is happening with their computers and why does this and this look strange now compared to before. I already now have to do way too much maintenance on their Windows 7 laptops because they are all dummies. Also because all the background data gathering in Windows 10 creeps me out. They even have brought it to Windows 7 etc, but thankfully those updates could be uninstalled. I am so damn happy that I fould GWX Stopper one day when searching how to remove the Windows 10 upgrade icon from the taskbar etc. All this data gathering and NSA and shit that has happened in the past few years has made me and all my friends move from using Hangouts to use Signal, which is said to be the most secure messaging program in existance at the moment. They just started their desktop beta program so now I can use it like I used to use Hangouts, both on PC and on my phone. No tablet support at least yet though... -
Just got Steam controller about two weeks ago, a friend bought it for me from another town far from here since Gamestop for some incredible decision has the global selling rights in normal shops for the Steam hardware. Gamestop shops are all far away from the region where I live. Should get a Steam Link soon, he got that for me as well so next time he visits I shall finally have it. I didn't want to buy it directly from Valve since I wasn't sure that will the toll and VAT come on top of that if they are sending the stuff from USA and not from some warehouse in Europe. I am expecting great things from Steam Link, hopefully it works in the living room as well as I have imagined. The Steam controller seems quite interesting, I haven't really mastered it yet. I have been playing mostly only Broforce with it so far. All the clickyness of all the buttons in the controller annoy me and also the haptic noise from the touch pads are slightly annoying as well. I hope those wear out so the controller becomes more silent after some use. I can see that there is definitely a lot of customization options since there are so many button configurations that could be built for pretty much any game.

I'm so damn excited for Thursday. I've been waiting for the arrival of Fast Racing Neo for so long. Simply amazing what those couple of crazy Germans have managed to do. Also Xenoblade X just came out. So many exciting things happening now. I haven't even picked up Super Mario Maker yet. So many unplayed games, Project Zero/Fatal Frame 5 is already on my shelf waiting, just haven't had the time and will have even less time in the future. Also excellent that Minecraft is finally coming to Wii U, the only console where the controls should make sense since you can put the inventory to the gamepad screen and just have a clean UI on the tv screen. I don't really care myself about Minecraft, but I've been reading a lot of comments from people that they are really happy to buy it for their kids on Wii U.

Yes, Headlander is looking really damn sweet. Also first day perch material.

The PS4 and Xbox 1 versions were just announced, but where the hell is the Wii U version? Wasn't that leaked/talked about like a year ago in some indie event? Would've bought it for a second time on Wii U...

Rayman Price Gouger (Adventures in Grinding)
Kolzig replied to syntheticgerbil's topic in Video Gaming
Yeah it is the BG&E HD version for last gen consoles. -
I bet they will just put the Christmas lights up in Steam and call it a Christmas sale and there in the middle of it, Half Life 3 just launches to Steam without any pre-hype trailers etc. And the internet dies after that. Just completely grinds to a halt.

Just got the limited edition box on Friday. Created my character and started the story and ran around the world and tipped my toes into the combat system a bit. Looks absolutely gorgeous so far. I will so not have time for this game to play it properly in the near future.

Rayman Price Gouger (Adventures in Grinding)
Kolzig replied to syntheticgerbil's topic in Video Gaming
Just started playing last month BG&E for the second time in my life. I completed it 100% on PC, but since it came for PS3 in PS+ subscription I thought it would be nice to go through it again, this time on console. Francis air hockey game is just impossible to beat for the pearl prize with the ps3 controller! I have no hope left for BG&E2, Ubisoft just doesn't do cool risky games anymore. I installed Rayman Adventures on my phone yesterday, 80MB download and then only the first intro level worked, after that it wanted to download something from Ubisoft's servers and the progress bar stayed at 0% for over an hour on both wifi and 3G connection so enough with this crap. They ruined Rayman on mobile. -
I think if it was Dengler, he would be open about it like he was with the previous DF projects. He would not want to stay in the shadows as he is a fan himself of DF's work.

Rayman Legends artbook?? When was that released? Shame to hear that the game is shite, I doubt Ancel worked much on it since he is doing Wild pretty much fully now even though Ubisoft may say something else. -
Thank you for creating this thread BigJKO! Our family has our first baby incoming any day now and I especially seek guidance for the upcoming years what would be the best ways to introduce the kid to gaming some day. I have a deep history starting with Commodore VIC20 when i was just four-five years old and I've always loved the old game consoles and games more than I love the new ones. So I have thought about introducing old games first if possible. I remember reading about a guy who introduced the whole history chronologically to his kids, but I don't have the money or the space in my apartment to do that. So I'll have to come up with some other strategy.

Yes, but I especially find it weird that Vita came out years ago and they didn't never even support that apparently in the friend list in PS3. And I am exactly annoyed by that "signed over 59 days ago" thing. Another thing that seems dumb is that they have no discount program for this PS2 games on PS4. I get it that they upscaled the graphics and put trophies in there for the achievements nuts, but why not put a discount for people who own for example the GTA games as PS2 classics on PS3. There must be ton of such players who now own PS4 and now have to again buy the PS2 games with a normal price of 10€/$ or 15€/$ per game. They could easily do it like Nintendo did with the Virtual console games on Wii U, let PSN check from the user id purchase history if you already own the PS2 classics on PS3 and then enable the discount.

Hahaha, alright. I did think it was a bit weird that just Eurogamer had that picture listed in their article and not anyone else. They still haven't removed it.

This one was a bit weird reveal today. Don't really know what to think about this? http://www.doublefine.com/news/comments/announcing_psychonauts_in_the_rhombus_of_ruin/ http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2015-12-05-psychonauts-in-the-rhombus-of-ruin-is-a-vr-spin-off-for-playstation-vr
