  1. Nintendo 3DS

I downloaded the demo of the new PW, but haven't had the time to play it yet. Didn't really like the voice acting in the trailers...
  2. Warcraft Adventures (old old stuff)

I played it a little bit from the beginning. I will continue playing after my summer vacation trip ends in October. Never would've imagined that it would see the release in some form. It's clearly not as polished and finetuned as Curse of Monkey Island was, but Clancy Brown and Peter Cullen as voice actors are just close to perfection.
  3. Nintendo 3DS

Gonna get Picross 3D 2 when it's released in Europe. We still have to wait a few months. I have wanted it ever since Nintendo announced it for Japan.
  4. The Nintendo Wii U is Great Thread

I have to shout out Affordable Space Adventures. Roderick, if you like cave flying games like old Wings etc. then this one is really great. It's made by Knapnok Games and Nifflas who made the Knytt games. The game becomes even better if you get two others to play it with you in co-op. AFA can be found from the eShop and it's Wii U exclusive.
  5. Nintendo 3DS

I have plans to get the Metroid Prime FF game, I just don't know yet will I hunt down a physical copy or just buy it digitally. I liked the Blast Ball at least and the tutorial that was in the game for the main game. I really loved last week's Nintendo Direct. So much good stuff in it.
  6. General Video Game Deals Thread

The delisting sucks, but Disney is just being Disney again. Good that at least it stays on accounts who have bought the game. I wonder will the mobile versions be pulled also?

  9. Quantum Break coming to PC

Looks like I will get to play Quantum Break after all! Boooom! https://twitter.com/remedygames/status/763398340667113472 Quantum Break is coming to Steam, DX11 and Windows 7. I sense already that this will be the best running version of the game. Release date 14th September 2016. Also Nordic Games is releasing a special collector's edition on PC with all kinds of goodies inside. http://www.nordicgames.at/index.php/article/nordic_games_to_retail_special_edition_of_quantum_break_for_pc E: I'm actually sorry for the Win10 UWP buyers of QB since according to Microsoft they need to buy the game again in Steam if they want the better working version. Win10 version will not receive any updates according to Remedy.
  10. Where's your head at? Headlander thread

I have used lasers so far for some encounters. In some I've sucked the heads off. Though I'm still quite early in the Pleasure Port station.
  11. Ripley's Believe it or Not!

The only thing Ripley's Believe It or Not brings to my mind is Dean Cain. He was the host of the tv show that used to be on tv here.

  13. Where's your head at? Headlander thread

Oh man, Chris's reactions were so genuine and awesome in the stream today. https://i.imgur.com/X4aBI1j.gif I just bought this yesterday in anticipation that it will be great, and it truly was when I watched the Thumbs Twitch stream. Lee Petty is such a great lead dev. The whole DF team deserves big
  14. Backlog Busters

I have an insane backlog that just keeps on piling up every week. I think I need help or something. I just bought Headlander and I bought Kentucky Route Zero. Now I'm also really, really tempted by Quadrilateral Cowboy and I'm supposed to play a ton of other games as well on way too many platforms. Still, I have no time, taking care of a seven month old daughter with my wife takes most of my free time that the only time I have for games is to buy more of them, I can't stop!
  15. Quadrilateral Cowboy: Dad Baud

That trailer is just great, so great. Oh man this is one hell of a crazy year for awesome games. Please please someone make a thread for Headlander as well, I don't want to make one with a lazy thread title.
  16. Pokemon GO

You might say so. Amount of bugs in this game is incredible.
  17. Pokemon GO

A moment in the life of Pokemon Go. Yesterday took a walk, used incense for 30 minutes. During that time caught eight Pokemons and six times the game crashed at the moment when the Pokemon is in the Pokeball and the ball doesn't shake and there is no sound and no Gotcha! text. Had to force restart the game twice per crash because each time after restarting it told me that the game can't retrieve player data from server. It was not the first time that incense has caused the game to crash constantly.
  18. Kentucky Route Zero

Looks like so, official webpage says: "PLAY THE FIRST FOUR ACTS NOW. REMAINING ACT WILL BE RELEASED THROUGHOUT THE NEXT YEAR OR SO."
  19. Rimworld

I don't think I would have time to play this, but it was great watching the Thumbs stream. Saw part of the second one today when Chris was playing it. Rimworld is hitting the news also: http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2016-07-18-fraudsters-force-rimworld-dev-to-stop-giving-out-steam-keys People always finding and using loopholes.
  20. The Nintendo Wii U is Great Thread

Yes, but don't some adapters have different voltage and mA going through those, like some are more powerful than others.
  21. Keiji Inafune's Mighty No.9

Still missing my DLC codes. I hear the Steam PC version at least works quite ok, I should've just taken that. The Wii U version runs like shit as does apparently every other console version as well. Vita and 3DS version won't most likely ever even appear. This is the most horrible managed Kickstarter since I backed The 90's Arcade Racer or the LA Game Space atrocity. Here's a couple of excellent reviews of the game from trusted Honest trailers and Zero Punctuation.
  22. Pokemon GO

Haha my friend sent me that video also last night. That's just insane. Man yesterday was just full of shit as 26 countries (including Finland woohoo!) came open officially in Pokemon Go. From midday until night the servers were so hammered that there was no connection to the game at all. I have been playing it sideloaded to my Android for a week and every day before yesterday it has worked normally.
  23. The Nintendo Wii U is Great Thread

The thing that makes me wonder about the mini NES is this: *Note that an AC adapter for the USB cable is required to play the system but is not included in the packaging. Why again the AC adapter is missing, wtf? Same thing as was with the 3DS consoles.
  24. The Nintendo Wii U is Great Thread

Holy crap, what is this now? https://www.nintendo.co.uk/Misc-/Nintendo-Classic-Mini/Nintendo-Classic-Mini-Nintendo-Entertainment-System-1124287.html Oh man if they would do the same for SNES that would blow my mind. I like Star Fox Zero also, it has a learning curve with the controls, but the game is quite nice if/when you learn to handle it. I do understand the criticism though. But for example I almost stopped reading Polygon's website completely after the absolutely ridiculously stupid Star Fox Zero "review" that they made. The reviewer didn't even try it for real.
