I have a bad feeling that the village idiot will win. But I'm still hoping that Kerry will win.

So if they had not made that video things would be a little different?
-
Hmmm? The ragdoll thing ain't the main point of Flatout, the racing is, it's a racing game. It's sometimes strange when people immediately take some small thing and magnify it into some huge "omfg this thing is a ragdoll driver running over car game." And about the tires, I just chose random pics that just happened to be full of tires, because those pics show off the physics engine.

Fine then Twilo, spoil my moment.

Oh it's quite certain that the price will be a lot higher in Europe than it is in Japan. And yeah the battery life does really remind me of Game Gear

Actually that was a news bit from Shacknews that some guy from CNN told them. I think? -

I hope they can keep that release date. -
Yeah, and the cool thing is that all of Cinemaware's games were heavily cinematic, like interactive movies one could say.
-
The greatest Cinemaware game ever is Defender of the Crown. And the commodore 64 version of that is the most legendary, even though the Amiga version has the best graphics I've never completed ICftD. Also Johanna you should try out Rocket Ranger, that's one of my all time favourite Cinemaware games.
-
It's a nearly perfect game, as are all the old Cinemaware games. The Amiga version of ICftD is the best, I had that one years ago.

I have it, but haven't yet played it.

Is this somehow different from the earlier demo? Like the mouse control, is it fixed now? Scrapland feels like cool game, I'll buy it.

I don't have a laptop but still what a coincidence, my computer has been overheating lately also. I suspect my power supply is damaged somehow, the fan doesn't work properly. I've ordered a new power supply today and also an extra fan to be put in the case to cool the computer more. Bye bye 100 euros...
-
The only new game I'll propably play is PoP:WW, and if Scrapland comes before the end of the year, I'll get it too. Other than those, I'll play older games, BG&E is still on my list, as is GTA:VC.

I hate the fact that this machines always cost more in Europe for some odd reason. For example Nintendo DS is $149.99 (120 euros) in USA and about 15,500 yen (115 euros) in Japan. And I bet it'll cost at least 150 euros in Europe when it's launched. The same goes with the games: $29,99 in USA, propably in Europe the games will cost about 40 euros. Nintendo DS is region free, I've heard that Sony is putting a region lock in PSP?

It might be a different internal team at Ubi Montreal? -
Exactly my thoughts about it. If I can keep working as a postman for a few months, I'll have spare money to buy Nintendo DS. I'll never buy a PSP. PSP just sounds like a complete failure.

And let's not forget the marvellous Scrapland.

Yes I do, I've got a continuously growing list of sid music in my foobar2000. I especially like Chris Huelsbeck's work. (Turrican saga...) Also Richard Joseph's work is legendary. (Defender of the Crown, Speedball...)
