Do not look at this if you haven't completed the game yet. http://img11.exs.cx/img11/3865/im-a-winner.gif

Damn, I didn't see him in any of those, I GOT to REPLAY this game and soon. I only saw him in two occasions, 1. on one of the monitors in Nova Prospekt I saw him walking through a room that was filled with Gordon-friendly-Antlions. 2. On a remote tv in City17, an eerie twin peaks kind music was coming out of the tv and G-Man was just standing there, then the transmission stopped. This was in the later City17 levels
  4. Half-Life 2 Spoiler Thread

OMG... I completed the game 1,5 hours ago and I'm still amazed. After 15 hours of active intensive gameplay in four days, I must say that Half-Life is a Great game. I started playing it with very low expectations, I hadn't really believed Gabe&co. would achieve anything out of ordinary. They totally blew me away... I loved all the movie references that they had taken advantage of. Like the Frank Herbert's Dune antlion thumpers! And the ending was spectacular. This isn't the best game ever or anything like that, but it is one hell of a Game. PS. I'm hoping the G-Man saved Alyx as well, you can't let pretty girls die who have hots for Gordon
  5. We used to build whole Lego cities with my friends, at one friends house we had a city theme, at another friends house we had the castle theme, we build like five huge castles and stuff. Anyone remember Playmobils?
  6. Yeah, GI Joe toys, comics and animated series were superb. I remember when Sky channel was still showing in my area and they aired GI Joe and Transformers. Those were great times.

Yeah, the car hopped up and down all the time in especially the construction yard tracks when the car had taken damage.
  8. Scrapland

Last Word Scrapland turned out to be a wonderful extension of American McGee’s awesome vision, bringing a unique type of game to the market. http://articles.filefront.com/Scrapland_Review/;222;2;;/article.html

So this is just some other guy with the exact same name?
  10. DOOM 3: Resurrection of Evil Details 11 new singleplayer levels, 3 new monsters, 3 new weapons and 4 new multiplayer maps. One new weapon is the previously mentioned double-barreled shotgun, another is a Half-Life 2 type gravity gun called the Grabber. The expansion pack will also see the return of the enviromental suit from the previous DOOM games.
  11. Half Life 2 First Impressions

Hmm, this is the best game so far to really demonstrate what Havok can do. But I'm a bit worried about the shortness. Today I started the game and played four hours straight, now I'm in chapter 6 and if I'm correct, the game has about 12 chapters? And I haven't hurried one bit, I've played with the physics in almost every possible point in the maps and found a lot of "secret" places. The story so far is 10x of what the puny story was in Hl1, that is something that I'm really glad about. The voice acting and lip sync truly is top notch.
  12. Dino Riders was cool, my cousin had a animated movie on vhs a long time ago. I had a huge amount of Dino Riders toys back in the early/mid 90's.
  13. Flatout

Yeah, the guy who wanted to revive the adventure game genre at LA.
  14. Flatout

So I played through the career mode in FlatOut. There was two names in the end credits that raised questions. Why did Bugbear want to give special thanks to Major Edlund, Finnish Defense Forces? And is Simon Jeffrey working as Managing Director in Empire Interactive? Because that's what he was credited in this game's credits.
  15. Flatout

In the full version I just jumped my personal record 120.98

Rally Trophy was also a great game, but you can't play it without a wheel. It's especially made as simulation racing. Rally Trophy has been titled as a sleeper hit, it got great reviews everywhere but people just didn't buy it back then. Now that it's found in almost every bargain bin, people have started to get it.

  18. Damn Steam

I believe it's the standard DVD version, because in Europe, Half-Life 2 is coming out in DVD format. The collector's edition is coming later, I think? Late November or early December?
  19. Flatout

Well, if you haven't noticed it earlier, gamespot is a *dumbass* american site. In USA Flatout is out in Q1 2005, but in Europe it's been out since 5th of November. www.play.com £17.99
  20. Playstation 2 Exclusives

Yeah, definately Rez and Katamari Damacy if I remember correctly, dvdsoon.com is selling Katamari Damacy for 29.95 canadian dollars, that's just unbelievably cheap.

Because of the lameass publisher Empire Interactive, ,many features were cut from FlatOut. Like bonus tracks, bonus cars, car repair screen, a fully supported internet multiplayer with lobby and maybe even the ragdoll on/off switch in single player among other things. Empire wanted the game out right now before christmas and not next spring. But still the game is great, and the community just keeps on getting bigger everyday. Now there's also another server list program out there, Flatout Launchpad. www.flatouthq.com is good site for unofficial add ons and stuff for FlatOut. The game has 36 tracks + 6 ragdoll tracks and 3 destruction bowls and 3 dirt tracks. And 18 cars if I counted correctly.
  22. BTG: The Final Hours of Half-Life 2

Buy it from a European store: 1 dvd
  23. So I just got KOTOR....wot now?

Yeah, it's a finnish name for a male. And in Kotor it's a name for a female, that's certainly is a bit freaky.
  24. Outlook vs Thunderbird

I don't care that much about Firefox, but Thunderbird is teh best.
  25. Kazaa alternatives?

But eMule is still the best.
