I've never been interested in the SWAT games franchise, but this fourth one got me excited. Irrational sure knows how to make good games.

Hmm, today I tested NDS for the first time at a local store. The only game they had on trial was Mario 64 DS and oh man it was cool, the DS itself was a lot smaller than I had suspected because of so many pro-PSP reviews of DS in the magazines and such that said it was Big. I immediately fell in love with the stylus.

Ubisoft has announced its 2005-2006 product lineup, revealing a lot of sequels in development at the French developer/publisher. About the only new property is 187 Ride or Die, an urban street-racing game. Games that are planned for release on the PC: Q1 Fiscal Year 2005-2006 Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Lockdown Q2 The Settlers: Heritage of Kings Add-On 187 Ride or Die Myst V: End of Ages Q3 New chapter of Brothers In Arms Far Cry Add-On Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon 3 (we still haven't seen 2 on the PC) Peter Jackson's King Kong Prince of Persia 3 Another The Settlers Add-On Q4 Silent Hunter 4 Heroes of Might & Magic 5 Splinter Cell 4 Product with Might & Magic brand Ubisoft's fiscal year 2005-2006 ends March 31, 2006. I see five interesting games in there, sequels to PoP and SC, the FarCry Add-On, BiA new chapter, and of course Michel Ancel's & Peter Jackson's King Kong. All in all, I see a lot of sequels & add-ons in there...

Well, not everything, just the stupid wannebe goth graphic style, and "I'm a badass att1tude prince" stuff. The actual gameplay etc. was still good. And please no more Godsmack title screen musics. But start from scratch is also a good thing, that way everything is new and it can be it's own game, and not just your typical sequel.

Or both?

Oh yes I have. Did you know this: Hey Chronic Logic was at GDC, did anyone see those guys in there?

I just checked the website of this upcoming superb looking racing game that is considered to be "Stunts 2". And the new screenshots posted in late december are just amazing. http://www.crashday-game.de/pages_e/screenshots.htm This. Is. Going. To. Be. The. Best. Racing. Game. Ever.

Hey I tested that game's demo five minutes ago, quite frankly the shittiest racing game I have ever seen with my own eyes. What the hell is with the lame "fly control"? You push accelerate and the car flies faster in the air, and when you brake while in the air, the car stops flying... And then the racing controls when on ground... just pure stupidity. And why is the car glued to the ground, the only time the car detaches from the ground is when you drive to a jumping platform. To hell goes this Trackmania, give me Stunts or Crashday.

Mmmmmm, you do realize that Oblivion uses Speedtree too? It's just applied differently. And those UE 3.0 Speedtree screenies are only demo pics, think what they'll look like when some team like the Oblivion team uses UE 3.0 in Elder Scrolls.
-
At least there are some older Unreal engine speedtree demos in there. Like The trees of Pangaea. http://www.idvinc.com/html/pangaea_images.htm

Those SpeedTree guys are crazy... That's damn beautiful.

This is maybe the coolest Batman animation ever created. (after Batman:TAS of course...) It is made by some art school guys (Digital Animation & Effects School, DAVE) and it features all new voices of ADAM WEST, MARK HAMILL, COURTNEY THORNE-SMITH & DICK VAN DYKE. http://www.daveschool.com/BATMAN/

Yes, this is also quite well done. http://spiteyourface.com/spidey.html

I'm gonna get a DS. But not tomorrow, most likely during summer, I've got no rush to buy anything right now. There so much strange shit going on in this thread. This reminds me of one certain id software thing that exists in the communities around the web. *bashing id makes one look kewl&hip.* *bashing nintendo makes one look kewl&hip.*

Yes, even in Doom.

But no one can play B.A. Baracus except

I have it on vhs somewhere, I copied it from a finnish tv channel that aired it once about five years ago or something... Hmm, it's been that long since I last saw it.

Has anyone seen this movie that features H.Ford and G.Wilder?
