Recent updates on UK:Resistance have encouraged an employee from a company that I, as well as practically the whole UK Idlethumbs staff have once worked for, to reveal the idiotic conditions forced upon QA testers required to test N-Gage games. Read all about it, it's all true.

I wasn't too sure when I made the switch over from IE. It wasn't long though before I realised how insanely awesome Firefox is compared to IE. Honestly, it rocks

Yep, no one was interested http://forums.idlethumbs.net/showthread.php?t=2744

I have to say I wasn't a fan of the 'quick cut' fighting either. They could have done better there.

We witnessed an earthquake once. There must have been about 6 of us. We were all in b0b's bedroom.

It's pretty good, your basic action movie. They tie up some stuff nicely but also leave some things unexplained which always annoys me. Also it has ninjas. It's better than batman and robin and that one with mr freeze, I'm not sure if I prefere it to the first two. Much better than episode 3, not as good as Sin City.

Damn, beat me to it

Your Console Story! Or how I ended up with a Sega Genesis.

That was it, I remember we got I couple of games first, seeing as we didn't have the mega drive I thought it was for the kid next door. Then we got the mega drive. Oh happy days. Our dad beat columns, he played it untill 4am or similar and got a score of 9999 I think. Great -

The one map that everyone uses is the demo really isn't all that big though. You hardly get stuck in the middle of nowhere, 10 seconds sprint and you're back to somewhere useful. I'm enjoying it more and more, never played any of the previous ones but I will probably get the game on release.

Whilst in the US I went into EB to try and get a GBA USB charger for my DS (which I have and had forgotten back in the UK). The staff insisted that no such thing existed and that I was getting confused and I was thinking of the PSP USB cable. This annoyed me. Edit: Also I didn't read the article as it wont load

I quite like the snipers. Being them that is. Why is it though that the US sniper rifles require a reload after every shot and the MEC sniper rifles are semi automatic and have a 10 round clip. This seems a little unfair to me

When you saw a link in a sig on the Dawn of War forums you say? That could well have been me, I hope so. Do you remember the name?

Yeah I'm sure we've had Knorr stuff in the UK for a fairly long time. I think on the adverts they pronounce it 'Nor'.

I got home. Best. Game. Evar.

Ok so I just bought it. Now I have to sit here at work for another 4 and a half hours then I can go home and fire it up. Luckily it comes with awesome packaging and a groovy book.
-
Can be seen here. aparrently. That would be pretty awesome.

I'm quite enjoying this demo actually. I keep comming top of the scoreboard, therefore it's a good game. It's still not a patch on planetside though.

Not sure if this is real or not but it's still fun to watch. The guy seems pretty happy at the end, perhaps there's a market for this kind of thing. If it is real then it's pretty cool, I like Darren Brown. http://www.kontraband.com/show/show.asp?ID=2349&rtn=index-topten

He supposedly thought he was in the game though, and we all know how bad gun sounds can be in games.
-
Tony the Tiger did it first.
-
I didn't think they were actually real.

That man wants his Doom 3
