I think for me, the main problem with SupCom is that it seems alot more geared towards macro play and I prefere to play with a bit more micro, paying a lot more attention to individual units. Also I hate the way the view in SupCom seems very cramped. I don't feel as though I can see what's going on and if I zoom in enough to actually see the graphics of a unit, I can't see what it is they're firing at on the same screen.

Well, after playing the demo it seems a bit to me. I think I'm gonna skip this game and go for C&C3.

I can't stop cracking my knuckles, and I get told off for it constantly by family, friends and colleagues. Each finger can crack twice, once for the nuckle and one ce for the first joint. Then after a minute they reset and I'm off again. Edit: The top joints click as well.

I remember a couple of years ago a friand of mine was using a spherical desktop for windows. I seem to recall you could pull windows forward from the wall of the sphere and rotate the thing etc. Seemed kind of cool but not for me.

69 dude! -
Maybe so, but when I went on holiday last year I got back to find the fan on my graphics card had fallen off and was dangling by it's wires. I fail to see how that was down to me, or in fact how it even happened at all.

I think it's something in the Brighton air, it eats away at compnents. I've gone through numerous graphics cards, a couple of HDDs, power supplies, I even had a brand new motherboard catch on fire (really) the first time I turned it on! I hate it and I can't afford it, however I still love PCs.

I don't think they'll ever have better graphical capability than a PC. Can someone please list all the hundreds of genres that consoles have and PCs are missing out on. I'll start the ball rolling with Platformers and Beat 'em Ups. These two have always been best for console though and in my mind it's not like there used to be a lot of highly anticipated releases for the PC in these genres, with a noticable decrease in recent years. Having said that however, you can get games such as LEGO Star Wars or the new Prince of Persia games for the PC. It's just, as said earlier, some games are better suited to console and some to PC. IMHO, FPS and RTS games just don't cut it on consoles, Platformers and Beat 'em Ups are more suited to console, but are still good on PC.

I'm currently looking forward to... Bio-Shock (FPS) Enemy Territory: Quake Wars (Multiplayer FPS) Spore (Or whatever genre "SimCity" was?) Vanguard: Saga of Heroes (MMO) Hellgate London (First Person Diablo?) I was also looking forward to STALKER but not so much anymore, I'll probably check it out though. Also currently out at the moment you have... Company of Heroes (RTS) NWN2 (RPG) FlatOut2 (Racing) Defcon (Strategy) As well as some games that have passed by that I didn't play, but that friends raved about and were probably quite good such as Oblivion and Dark Messiah. I personally enjoy a good RTS now and then and I'm quite a fan of MMOs. Maybe that's what's kept me going, but I think there's enough on the PC to keep me entertained and interested without struggling to finish everything before the next big release.
