Well, the announcement was made. The website was launched. The screenshots made me cream. http://dawnofwar2.com/us/home

Metallus wins. Homestar Runner has had some pretty funny moments. Granted Strongbad is probably the only really funny character, but the site has definitely made me lol on more than one occasion. As for episodic games for the Wii, it might work or it might be a pile of shite. Same goes for Happy Tree Friends. If you've outgrown the humor, maybe you should stop spending your money on games and get a nice blanket to put over your lap whilst you sit by the fire and put your teeth in a glass. Stop smelling of TCP and get rid of the walking stick. Happy Friday.

Same. I was a little disapointed with my reward though.

There was just some awesome moments in that game. Parking you ATV just behind a hill and sniping with a boot full of ammo and health packs. Getting a mate and driving 'round in a heavy tank destroying everything. Getting the same mate and flying a Lib bomber about. Amazing dogfights between mossies and reavers. Seeing how much damage you could do picking people off in a stealth suite. Unloading the thumper plasma grenades down into the spawns of a tower. Storming down a corridor in a MAX. Getting a Gal and dropping in on a critical base, taking down the gen and seeing how long you could hold it, screwing over the base that the rest of your faction is trying to take. That game was incredible

Thanks for the heads up on that one

Well I picked this up on Friday as I've always been a fan of Dawn of War. This expansion bumps up the number of races to a whopping 9 in total if you have the previous expansions as well. I was expecting balance to be way out as a result, especially seeing as balance has always seemed to be something Relic just couldn't get right. But I have to say that it's actually really good this time around. Probably due to the fact Relic didn't make it, although they are patching it so we'll have to wait and see if things get worse. The new flying units are a bit poor, I think I would have prefered a new ground unit for each race but they don't ruin anything so meh. The new races are pretty good however, I'm especially liking the Sisters of Battle. The campaign is basically the same as the previous expansion but across 4 planets instead of 1. Still good fun to play through and actually a good challenge on Hard. I'd definately recomend it to anyone that has the previous titles. A good RTS with 9 races and decent balance, as well as new maps makes Nick a happy boy.

Well like I say it wasn't Relic that did this expansion but Iron Lore. And they've done a really good job with the balance, I haven't seen or heard of any over powered mass builds and they tried to slow down tech just a little. Currently it seems like you can have decent Tier 1 fight and not be worried about getting trounced if the other guy hits Tier 2 before you do. Only problem with online games is that there are a couple of game breaking bugs, like Sisters of Battle can get infinate resourses. So I'm leaving competitive play until they patch that out. There's always gonna be the problem with not enough peoplein the lobby unfortunately, it's not too bad though. I don't really play big games as I find the 1 on 1 more to my taste.

Thanks all, it was a goodun

I played FLYFF, it's just the usual mindless grinding. I wouldn't recomend it tbh unless you have more time than you know what to do with and extreme patience. I think that's gonna be the story with pretty much all free MMOs, although Cabal Online looks quite fancy. Dungeon Runners is the best.

Soulseek ftw.

Skate does Tony Hawk's up the bum and then makes it apologise. I always liked Thrasher: Skate and Destroy on the PS for being a bit more technical and realistic but Skate is pure genius. I don't even have a 360 but have been very tempted to get one just for this game (and Rez). Edit: On topic of GHIV, GH is still good even if you've got rock band. If you've got the controller(s) from the previous games then it's not gonna set you back more than any other game so it'd probably come down to how many awesome tunes it has on it.

I think he would let her fix his massive election.

The temptation to buy a 360 grows.

Same goes fo me. I like mine better

Wow, I really can't imagine how they're going to come up with 2 new weapons for some of the classes. A deffinate though.
