I spoke to a friend on Saturday who has been playing it. He said he is not really into that sort of game (had to play it for work) but he was drawn right into it and liked it a lot.

Don't you end up fighting some mythical dragon at the end? Who would have thought... I like the scope of the game, but it's execution is rotten.

The only thing worse than another Shenmu game is a multiplayer Shenmu game where everyone can walk around being 'nice but tough'. Puke.

Yager is the best Xbox game I have played. I was enthralled throuout the entire game and it was a hell of a rush completing it. The bit where you kill the sentinal sent to kill you and in order to sneak into the bad guys base you immitate his german accent, that had me in stiches for ages... uh... had to be there I guess. An all around fun game I highly recommend.

Characters in 'puter games never need to take a piss. Sorry this is my pet peeve for the decade.

If they can figure out a way to cheaply run DivX movies on the PSP and I was catching the train every moring, I would consider getting one to watch movies on.

Fastbacks Game Law #1 All characters in game including the controlled character should feel the need for a piss every 1-3 hours. If this need is not satisfied the character trousers/skirt should grow a dark patch in proportion to the amount of liquids drunk in game with a puddle at their feet. Fastbacks Game Law #2 All characters who have created a puddle underneith them should leave footprints and any interaction with other characters should within 10-20 seconds be paused, the non puddle character should flarie their nostrils and state "did you piss yourself mate?"

I played the demo on Xbox, it was very nice. It surpassed my self imposed time limit of '1 minute time limit to impress' and I was still there 15min later! Full game has impressed the boys in Cert. -Ash

This was made by Melbourne House so start worrying. I am told that you can complete the game in a few hours if you zing through it, you can strech it to 20 hours if you are inclined to examine every inch of the landscape. I am going to end this here before I get started on Melbourne House...

Has anyone got a link for the two new Half Life 2 movies that were shown at E3 this year? Fileplanet has got a 600MB download of them but I don't want to sign up for it. Cheers big ears,
