Hahahaha... actually, modernist, yes, modern, no.

Why are you starting a campfire? Did you forget to book a hotel or something?

Why don't I have it yet?! Why isn't it here already?! I hate that game and I hate EB Games and I hate FedUPS or whoever is supposed to be shipping it and I hate all of you who're playing it right now.

a) In the words of the immortal Ali G: It's nice. I like it. Better yet, I abhor the barrelled roof and the batman boomerang controller. I would much rather have a featureless plastic box and an equaly inconspicuous thinggie to put my hands on. But frankly my dear, c) I don't give a damn.

Don't insult modern art, you philistine!

Once you pass those bits you'll fondly remember them. Trust me.

Life is like a disappointing box of chocolates.

That is the last level.

I liked best the waffle iron and the discular design for the next Xbox and PS respectively...

You ought to be ritually executed.

Ok, so the fat and unhip J Allard had a mid life crisis and the result is as X-tr3m3 as the letter X. The oldman to fart conversion ( => ) is ridiculous not because he decided to shed a few pounds, but because of the aesthetic that he chose to embrace after the fact. To begin with, bald white men look like freshly circumcised dicks and all the black leather and vinyl that he sheaths himself into doesn't help draw attention from the fact.

Hey, I want a revolution.

Ysbreker's review of This thread: flawed, irrelevant, hip.

Kingzjester: cunt, hated.

I'm pretty sure he hasn't opened the program since 1996.

Bah, shuddup.

I think the strive for photo-realism (whatever the hell that means -- people use it all too lightly without knowing what exactly they mean by it) is connected to the general lack of creativity which is a product of a hegemonic system that will not wilfully reform or alter its hierarchy. Ergo revolution.

Random Psychonauts Tidbits (possible spoilers)

If you haven't already, yeah, but I mean you have to talk to that bulldog who is standing in front of the last card poster/portal, who is trying to run out and paint the poster. Why people are having trouble with this one, I don't know. -
Maybe it is just the Marxist in me talking, but I don't foresee this as a slow and gradual transition. The present pile of bullshit will rise and rise until the proverbial Industry keels over under the weights of its own injustice and imbalance of power. The whole industry will have to be burned down to its very rotten and fallacious premises by its very rank and file before anything better can be built in its place. Long live the proletariat!

Carpal tunnel syndrome here I come! To push a key you have to put your shoulder into each keystroke. But press scroll lock twice and either the up or the down arrow key and you can switch between the several independent computers that are connected to the same input and output hardware. The oddest part is that most of the computers have most of the same software on them (how many copies of 3D Max does a man need?). I guess he still hasn't gotten to specialize them... Wait a moment, this one here is my old computer! Man, it's slow as fuck.

You have to talk to the bulldog as well. Go back and forth there. You should talk your way towards painting that poster. -

So very French of you. I think even the British hint at a hhh sound there somewhere...

Thank god we have Trep to translate.Wow. I am at home and typing this at my father's keyboard... he has one of those olden ones that click almost like a typewriter, you know those over-hardy keyboards built all heavy-duty like that allow you to take off all the keys easily. It says DELL in the corner, but this logo almost reeks of mid-80s. Everything else is top of the line, except the keyboard...
