  1. Sony's E3 Conference Thread

Cool coverage man. I don't think any of us need to go to LA for quality editorializing. Also Sony's 11th-hour, mustn't-let-Nintendo-rape-us add-on is really -worthy. I say! ! :ponycrap:
  2. Sam & Max

    HOT SHIT!
  3. Rayman Raving Rabbids

    Hahahahahha....
  4. e3 predictions

At best Sony can make some sort of cheap eyetoy-like bullshit and claim it will destroy Nintendo. Nintendo has been stewing on the technology, fine-tuning it and everything for years, I bet. They have the infrastructure and everything to make the console and a lot of the technology for the console is most likely already frozen. They're just tweaking the drivers and whatnot. On the other hand, some of the technology that Sony is allegedly championing in PS3 doesn't even exist yet.
  5. New Spore footage + interview

Anyone got a 1up mirror? Cause the page won't load for me.
  6. half-life

Were you talking about Half-Life or Psychonauts?
  7. Colbert a-bom-zal-droppen-ton (Bush am cry)

  8. Co-Op story-based games?

Won't run on my machine. As for Rez for the PS2, it is near impossible to find and when you do it is hideously expensive. The ICO co-op mode probably only exists in the PAL version of the game.
  9. Colbert a-bom-zal-droppen-ton (Bush am cry)

It implies causality more than doubt. I demand an apology!
  10. possibly interesting e3 games

Ditto on Chris's list, give or take. I just want to Wii.
  11. Colbert a-bom-zal-droppen-ton (Bush am cry)

How is that more of a generalization than what I've said... __ :shifty: :shifty: :shifty::shifty:
  12. NWN2

It is the best-written game this side of Tim Schafer. The "Updated my journal" jabs are affectionate. It is saying a lot about quality of writing in Planescape Torment that I didn't notice it was based on DND unil relatively late in my playing experience (not to say late in the game since I never finished it). Other DND games are really transparent about their DND nature. PsT wasn't.
  13. NWN2

That is a reason to be excited.
  14. Colbert a-bom-zal-droppen-ton (Bush am cry)

The media is not reporting just because he was extreme. Journalists are vain cunts apparently.
  15. Runaway

I think you can get No One Lives Forever 2 for no money at all from amazon. Could be worth it. You could also wind the newly released version of Bad Mojo for cheap. I bought mine at a Target, althoug Amazon may have some too...

Colbert is one of few men I would go down on without thinking twice.
  18. Bananas, proof that god exists

    The Devil?
  19. Beyond Good and Evil - stuck and up the creek.

You have to snap the sarcophagus-like enemies that attack at the beginning. There is only a few places they appear after the beginning and you have to snap them while you're fighting them. One of the places is the room in which the Pig is arrested, the other is in the slaughterhouse at the very entrance to the inner moat. I am not sure if there are any on the moon or if they count since you're supposed to collect the planet-bound animals.
  20. Happiness is... $41.92

Do you know how I keep my machine nice and cool in the extreme moments of high computation? I call it mr. blow.
  21. I assume the former and hope for the latter. That way I can be pleasantly surprised. I am not, but it might happen yet. I think it will be ass. You want this sort of game made by Sega. Can you imagine a painting game modeled like Sega Marine Fishing? You would have to do paint these happy trees and the game would figure out how close you were to the original Bob Ross and score you on that. If you fail miserably your avatar on screen would scream, "OOH NOOO!"
  22. I always wanted to shoot pachinko machines.
  23. Why are developers held hostage by PR?

I've had some pretty horror stories about editors meself. Glasstire.com edited all coherence out of some of my articles, as if on purpose. Fucking eidiotors. Ever since then I explicitly ask editors to send me the edited draft before they publish it. If you act as if you have the clout to demand something like that, they will treat you as if you do.
  24. Why are developers held hostage by PR?

To mind comes the Chronicles of Riddick PC version of the game that has that dev commentary. All of it is really interesting and I listened to all of it. I wouldn't mind those more-or-less random, non-PR people being interviewed or speaking their mind. I wrote a little blurb on it (scroll down to the bottom of the page to find it).
