This thing is hot. And I mean HAWT. I just hope that they had the good sense to include wandering-around and non-linearness that Arx Fatalis had. So much of the demo seems like on-the-rails Half-Lifeism.

I agree. Fahrenheit is an awful choice for illustrating pretty much anything. But fellas, this here is Ernest Adams! He's often been right before, and never this annoying. Maybe he outsourced his article-writing duties or something.

Ernest Adams is well aware of Facade. I do think all of his examples of high art are cringeworthy.

I wonder if a lot of the trouble in pitching weird games could simply be bypassed by the person pitching being really excited about the game and eloquent in pitching it.

An earnest sentiment but an uninspired article. Also the graphic design on that site sucks monkey balls. I hope the game picks up a little late steam through Gametap or something like that.

Also, just FYI, threads that start with "Dear Kingzjester" freak me out.

The first Half-Life is superior to the sequel in many ways. The Xen bits are kinda awful, but everything up to then is the shit.

It is not an original idea, but it's been tried in the western world time and again. No one ever quite pulled it off, but maybe one of these days! We can only hope!

A very flawed game, but deserving of love.

At least it is animated by, you know, animators.

Speaking of Killer 7, that game deserves love just for Con Smith's reload animation.
