Yeah, what's up with that? I've lived in somewhat wholesome neighborhoods for years now and I have yet to see any trick-or-treaters. I even have this hideous burn-victim-looking sculpture (that my ex-roommate made from wire, butcher paper and wood glue, then singed severely) I put out on the porch as a signal that we celebrate the thing... No one comes around. Are people that afraid of their neighbors in this fucking town? Well, I hope my new neighborhood will be more conducive to trick-or-treaters. People in this part of town tend to be more liberal with their children and pets (i.e. they are always in the streets, in packs). And more on topic, I have no consoles. I will have to play this on St. Valentine's day or whenever it gets pooped out on Steam. I am glad it's fun. I also hope that one of the smaller Amnesia Fortnight Whathaveyou games consists of a couple of new levels for Psychonauts. That would be pretty rad. :tup:

In multi player, with the correct plugins it is as easy as /setspawn. There is no similar thing in single player. That is all that meant.

Funny you should say that. I don't really remember much of Baldur's Gate, barely having played more than a half-hour prolly. When I first encountered that sign it only said "PARTY BEFORE VENTURING FORTH" and I thought it was a lot more fun that way.

My default, first world in SSP was way higher, right out of the box! I guess it could be that the generated world blocks naturally occur with hills and suchlike within the lowest 32 blocks, with the space above available for building, but unfilled for memory purposes.

I have build more than 32 above sea level. My floating island is way higher than 32 and it is not even close to all the way up. I am pretty sure total world height is 128, dude.

128 was mentioned at some point, I think.

It probably does take some sort of garbage as a seed value, but I dunno if the initial garbage dictates the entirety of the map. If you walk in wide-enough a circle in an unexplored area, the place where you meet your starting point is likely to have weird artifacts, like a wall in the landscape. There is one of those right by Kingzjesterland (though I've nerfed it a little by digging around it). I attached a screenshot. If there was a way to generate identical worlds from some seed value, wouldn't you think the world would anticipate the junctures better? Maybe this is an artifact of something else altogether, tho I dunno what it would be. That said, I am pretty sure by importing the old world we can import blocks that are there right now, placed or generated, rather than some pristine virginal world.

You can jam the watery bits between glass. Glass blocks holding up the sand bits on Link colossus look perfectly fine.

From what I understand, the land is generated when you go in a direction, on the fly. When they say import a world, I am pretty sure they mean import all the blocks as they are, not some sort of virgin state of the world before stuff was generated (since that doesn't really exist).
