Nah. But my sister did destroy my father's computer. She managed to somehow chuck it across the room... it was a tower, not a laptop. I still don't know how it happened, but apparently it was an accident.

Aaaaaahhhhhh!!!! - The tale of a lost CD which blossomed into a chat about rock music

According to the handy booklet in the case that contains the lyrics, the word is "easily" but they say "eeeeaaaaassilyyyy". -
I would think really hard about anyting that you may have saved in the old Windows folder. If there is nothing, just mark it and click delete. Make sure you are indeed running XP and you're deleting the right folder.
-
Ok, it doesn't sound like anything that you can't solve by just cutting the contents of the old My Documents and pasting to the new My Documents? I am not sure where ME keeps the My Documents folder, but XP's are located in C:/Documents and Settings/username/My Documents/ I believe 2000 has them in the same place as XP does, but earlier incarnations just had it in the root or... maybe elsewhere... Did that help?

what files do you want to transfer and where were they originally? Did you install the windows already?
-
Sooo... what is the problem? The old Windows folder will just become obsolete and you can delete it after you've installed XP. I myself always install windows on clean formatted disks. I have two and I shuffle them around, then clean the old files.

I thought the same before I heard it, when actually the album is impressively cohesive for a Best Of CD. It features a tasty collection of studio music and an extra CD in concert. I bought it on 9.11.2001, together with Bob Dylan's newest album which came out on that day. Funny, I was actually looking forward to the eleventh of September so that I may buy it. -
US State Department commits treason, brutally executed by presidential decree

Read all about it here. The state of the country is both hilarious and sad in a kind of Neroesque, Caligulous way. -

They both work, yet Caligulous sounds like callous so it gets an extra point. -
ODFMOG!! Once I sat on a couch that looked EXACTLY like that one! Only it was green and had no legs and the arm rests were sortof more oblong and the back was straight.
-
Fuck you, darling. I wasn't talking about you.
-
I sortof have the same fear... but it was obvious from the way things were shaping up through the last few games that Rockstars are trying to approach the RPG genre from all the way around, in what I feel is a more natural way to do RPGs...
-
Holy cow, Batman. Does that mean you're going to do it or me? I don't want to have two forums...
-
Previews, eh? Maybe we should have a separate forum for these?

Crap. I may have left it my father's car... he took all the cds out of his car and put them over... which means... AHA! I have found my Blur: The Best Of CD. -
I wonder if you could get a fishing pole, build a small fire on the beach and eat your catch... that would be extra RPGesque.... but that seems to be where the game is going.

I think Marek was trying to be sarcastic. I may be wrong, you know, but that's just my impression. You don't have to take my word for it. Nothing is certain 100%. Just an educated guess on my part.

Shareware... that's interesting.... Why did shareware games die?
-
That explains a lot.

I'm thinking more along the lines of Commander Keen where jumping to an invisible platform half the universe over in the dark was all there was to the game... I don't think Tim's level designers would need to put in such un-fun puzzles though. Then again, we'll see.
-
Well, I was sortof responding to you and then continuing your point further...To recapitulate Marek's post and adlib a little, he said that regardless of one's political standing, one cannot deny that G.W.B. has the intelligence of a bean curd. He also rolled his eyes at a defined lurker, but that was an inside thing that we're not supposed to understand.

Honestly. Your care for the feelings of others is bizarre. There was nothing in that post that would insult a normal human being...

Something is rotten in the State of the Union.

The only problem I see there is that Galveston is amazingly flat and the streets are either numbered (N-S), lettered (E-W) or named after species of fish (other). Galveston could be the ghetto level in GTA: South-East Texas.... On second thought, let's never talk about this again.
