51% of America are clinically retarded.

And Texas.

Schafer's definition of art is verbatim my definition that I have shared with all y'all on numerous occasions... maybe.

By, say hypothetically speaking, Reagan who had CIA train him to fight the Red Menace in Afghanistan? This is all conjecture, folks... in an alternate universe maybe...

I would just like to point out that ZeroXcape is not quite a newbie to most of us here even though this is his first post....Still, we hate his malnourished views.

He suspected that the cast-away votes went equally both ways which is a dangerous thing to suppose... Ah...

Oh? I would say it is kinda Fluxian.

The first time I heard about Obama I was driving somewhere and listening to NPR's All Things Considered and the woman said something like, "And now we have with us the person many consider the first black president of the United States." At first that took me aback because I didn't know we had any black presidents, let alone enough of them to warant having them numbered. Once I digested what she had said, my next thought was, Bah, gimme a break! How can you say something that stupid, woman? How can you possibly pull someone out of your ass like that and raise him to the presidential pedestal without thinking about what you're saying?!? And then I listened to him talk for half an hour and was in love. Weirdest thing ever. I don't think any politician ever managed to win me over so fast. It could be the tone of voice.

I'm thinking Mars....

That is pretty much the harrangue I was surpressing in class today... I wish I am not in San Antonio when that happens, though...

That is the first thing that went through my mind while I was vomiting last night, earnestly shocked by the results. But then I remembered that Republicans have a firm hold on both the House and the Senate, plus also the Supreme Court...I was kinda late there, eh?

Shocking though it may sound, it wasn't me who changed the poll results.

I'm sorry for Wolf Blitzer. I remember clearly how four years ago he was shuffling papers on his desk with tears in his eyes -- as if someone had died -- when the election was concluded in Bush's favour. Now he looks sedated...

I have never been as afraid of the United States as I am right now.

It is a very subtle movie. You blink and you'll miss it. The awesomeness is hanging by the thread -- and there is no thread for the Lost in Translation, the awesomeness has fallen into the chasm long ago... I was listenin to the election while I was typing that... so my train of thought was lacking... the coal... of coherence... yeah...

Everything was by the numbers, everything happened where and when it was supposed to happen and everything was -- aww -- naive and everyone was one-dimensional. Textbook example of Hollywood trying not to be Hollywood. I have nothing against subtlety; I liked The Royal Tenenbaums. Lost in Translation just gave me nothing. I walked out of the theatre with a curled lip and a vague sense of disgust and disappointment and no inclination to cut it any slack for what it is -- let alone like the movie or love it.

It is very cheap symbolism.

It means mermaid in Russian.

Yes, I think that mission is there just to freak you out, you know, these people take their Respect + seriously...

'3D images on computer screens' patented in 1988. Lawyers hover.

I read somewhere about the British model, I am not sure if it is the propsed law or if it passed, but when you sue for something ridiculous and you lose, your lawyer is biller for the costs of the proceedings. -
Vice City didn't have the awesome glow on the PC that it had on the PS2. Also, with my ATI 9600 pro I experienced some weirdness with the bushes, the edges were anti-aliased, but through the anti-aliased transparency of the jagged edge the other bushes behind didn't appear at all -- instead you saw the buildings behind. I may take a screenshot later. Knowing how it looks on the PS2, the PC version feels like a lazy port. The cars in San Andreas look awesome and so does the orange glow of the whole city. I hope they don't just shit the port out taking away those visual dohickies.

I was pleasantly surprised by the game - I am only afraid that they will not carry over the awesome shaders to the PC and Xbox version - though not very happy about the change of the big bouncing arrow design. I thought it was going to devolve into the ultra violence and gangsta crap, but the satirical vein is still there...

God, man, this is so much :fart: that reading it is making me unbearably uncomfortable. The very fact that you are comparing Lost in Translation to Citizen Kane is a heresy; like comparing A Mother's Gift to The Odyssey.
