I beg to differ, son. Also note that their demo mainly shows people being kicked and shot and herds of horses running into a stray cloud of sarin gas. I assume that the running algorithms are also theirs, and they too are not that bad. Hell, Poser has some decent walking algorithms to play with.

AAAAH! I don't need to know any of this! You're all banned!

How long does the screen last, with all the tapping and drawing? I go through two mice in a year with my fairly casual FPSing.

Hey man, that is my line.

I'll print it out, laminate it and send it to the library of congress first.

Shit dude, there is a bit of pseudo-discussion here.

Now if only that blog was readable... What the hell is that? 60% line height? Gimme a fucking break. I am tempted to delete this thread cause Jake already posted that link in the relevant newspost. Nothing personal...

Hell, there are people here more than willing to recapitulate the facts for me. Why should I get out of my way? ¬ ¬

So is this gonna be a mmo ordeal or more along the lines of Black-and-Whitesque, show-your-monkey-to-the-world kind of thing?

I watched the making-of documentary on my brand new DVD and it says that when Miyazaki presented the script of the movie to the investors they denied him on the grounds that it was stupid to make a movie without a comic book tie-in.... so Miyazaki sat down and created the comic book for them. He published it in an anime magazine edited by some dude who would later become his lesbian lover and partner in crime as the producer of studio Ghibli for all the movies that would come out after that.

As far as horrible things done in the west to Japanese things, I think this poster takes the cake: Whoever has seen Nausicaä of the Valley of the Winds should know how hideously atrocious a poster this is. It is an awesome movie, that, one of Miyazaki's finest. I bought the DVD the other day. I did a Google search for it beforehand and was insulted by this poster. So much so that I immediately set it as my desktop.

Speaking of which, Rodi, that is not how you write per se. Or maybe you want to say that you don't dislike Persian digital art?
-
Yes that is quite hideous.

Funny thing, the manual for Thief was, erm, well.... there was no manual. There was just this CD-sized leaflet of glossy paper... and it was informing me how to install monopoly. The game didn't work straight out of the box; I had to tweak my machine for days to make it work.

Not sexy, just a good photograph and a nice distortion.

Make a new screen name. And as for HL2, you have to be online the first time you run the game.

You could aim yourself.

I am reading my mail and answering it. Lemme see how that offline thing works... you have to unplug the network cable... and then a window pops up asking you if you want to play in offline mode. You say yes.

I bought my copy of the game for 3 bucks in Big Lots or some such depressing store of stale merchandise in which I never would've expected to see games. Therein I also found Thief Gold for the same price.

All of the paintings, drawings and such from my middleschool and highschool days that I had ever won any kind of award on have been spirited away by my art teachers or some nobodies in the bureaucracy.

Original ICO would've generated piles of money if only had the box art shown a more buxom pale femme fatale in some Marylyn Monroe pose behind a more grim and xtreme Ico brandishing a badass sword (or at least a two-by-four smeared in ectoplasm). :pwned:
