So I went to Blockbusters and rented the Xbox version which I promptly proceeded to play on my roommate's machine. This is not really a spoiler.

I just saw the latter part of a Psychonauts comercial on Comedy Central. Maybe they'll do this one right, eh?

I bought TRON 2.0 at my local book store. Funny thing is, the game keeps turning my computer off. Only Monolith can do that shit. In addition to being potentially harmful and annoying, it is eerie. This is a game where you break shit down and fix shit -- shit that is symbolically suposed to represent components and architectures in the innards of a computer. I don't want to destroy some pathway in the game and at the same time be treated with my computer buzzing for a second and going out like a roman candle. I'm downloading a patch now. Has anyone else had similar problems?

I've already done everything the customer (life?) support told me to do. It ain't working. It is really bizarre since NOLF2 works just fine; the two are basically the same game, only slightly off visually.

Ok, shit, I tried everything and it still keeps dying on me.

Gamestops around my house don't even carry PC games. On a related note, I got no confirmation that my copy shipped yet.

The only other game that ever fucked with me thusly was Neverwinter Nights. :(

It still keeps turning my computer off. It happens when I load a new level, a few seconds into it, or when I try to interract with anything. If it is heat, then it is a sudden burst of heat out of nowhere. The symptoms point at something something else.
