you hate everything, ya moany old bastard. I suspect that you even hate moaning because it gives you a sort of masochistic and paradoxical thrill.

I'd just like to say that I am Nostradamus. Woo! -

I concur. Let's face it, we're almost entirely from an MnM or AG background. The liklihood that our opinions have changed is very small indeed. We might as well accept right now that the order will be 2, 3, 1, 4 and then forget about it. Mind you, i preferred 3 -
Some of the concept art on that is spectacular. More companies should release higher res concept art! it is teh win.

well it is kinda tough to think of any brilliant RPGs which have been released recently. KOTOR was superb while i was playing it, but i don't think i'll go back to it for years, if at all. Other than that, there was morrowind which was spectacular but kinda old now. Oh, and planescape torment which is even older! All in all, it's not looking good for single player RPGs

I enjoyed forcing her to nose dive off cliffs. ahhh, i can her the sound of her neck snapping like a carrot to this day.

Mine, combined with my title, is either really shit or really cool depending on wether you played KOTOR and how much you liked it. I don't pander to the masses, man!

ahhh Fahrenheit. Now there's a game to get excited about

oh god, let's all keep our libido's under control please.

If you want FSAA in older games like this or grim fandango, you'll need to pick up an old nvidia from somewhere. GeForce 2's are usually flogged on ebay for around £20 and should do the trick perfectly if you have the money spare.

If you were a filthy rich developer/publisher....

I'm not a huge sequel man myself, but the Land of the Dead is the most perfect setting for one. I don't think it'd be right to have Manny, maybe no characters from the original. But it is a rich canvas on which to paint. -
Surely that would mean Dave Mirra style stunts?

yes it does. "par" has different definitions which the context makes clear. The use of "below" (which they have to use considering the scoring) instead of "sub" is there to give an extra separation between both phrases. It's somewhat bizarre and coincidental, but far from nonsensical.

GTA3 aficionados, listen up: NPR Yakuza story

My curiosity is aroused, but not to the extent that i would consider allowing RealPlayer on my computer for an instant. The thing is a heap of shit. I'll take your word for it however -
"sub par" is bad and is a description of quality. "below par" is good and description of numerical supremacy. They are not the same. All in a day's work for Screwtape P.I. extraordinaire.

But that was what made it crap for me. He was so, so baaaaad. It really distressed me, considering how top he usually is in comical roles. Still, at least he wasn't out-done by any of the others...except the guy who did the swampling.

she's too much of a bloody non-descript euro-chick. She looks like every other female adventure protagonist out there with the possible exception of Laverne from DOTT. But she was hardly a woman herself.

That's just what I told b0b and even he had to admit that it was a bold move worthy of praise. Mind you, he didn't even play to the end, the lazy sod.
-
Yeah, i gotta say, i didn't find that race too mind bending. It was a challenge, just like the rest of the game and it only took, say, 5-6 tries to win it. You just had to find the little sneaky shortcuts.

Blimey, was it? I thought that the talkie was only on the cd version cos i can remember playing the diskette one without voices. Maybe my computer was too shit to handle it? Well anyway, it was still awful and some of the worst acting in a game ever. SS2 was infinitely better done in every way, I thought. Simon was more of an obnoxious teenager that a little brat and that angle tickled me more. It was abusive, sarcastic, parodied AND had Mr. T in. No contest. You were lucky you didn't play SS3D, your life was spared. For the sake of your children as yet unborn, never even look at the box art.

ah yes, but can you leave their baths running and crap on the beds too? Selotape the cat the the door, etc. Now THAT'D be worth doing
-
they were in GTA1 though, i remember a superb mission called 'smack the bitches' or something and you had to go around punching these gay targets for some reason and they'd come out with all sorts of uber-camp stuff. genius.
-
Why does the fact that you're gay prevent you from shagging your monitor. That's practically descrimination, that is.
-
I loved them but when the talkie version of SS1 came out i nearly died. Even headed by the fabulous chris barrie it was abysmal. Dear god.

they could hide cheesewire in their bras mwahahaha oh the evil.
