Sounds like we need to go on a slime hunt.

Now that my Idletown square is mostly finished I'm giving out 9x9 squares facing the square for houses. Anyone want to build a (small) house facing the square? (No bigger than 9x9x12) Let's make this an actual town instead of just a random collection of mega structures. I'll mark out the plots later today. Just place a sign in one if you want to claim it. If this becomes a huge success I'll mark out more plots along the path to the square (which I'm also going to make).

Just to clarify. The only thing that has been cheated on so far is the spawn tree. Everything else is all dug/smelted/crafted by hand. The spawn point will be moved inside the tree at some point in the near future, right?

See my post and Dr waffles': There is a mod that gives you the best of both worlds. Creative and survival on the same server. Just walk into the right quadrant and you're set.

There are mods that allow you to have creative and survival on the same server. On the same map actually. Each quadrant of the map has it's own setting: creative with monsters, creative without, survival with monsters and survival without. That way you can have the best of both worlds

I wouldn't mind getting a server up again. And I'm willing to chip in!

Somehow this "you should only read literature" stance annoys me to no end. It dismisses such great works like Snowcrash, Nation or Neuromancer as being inferior and somehow lesser people. Dismissing any book out of hand because it's has some kind of label or is currently popular is stupid and ignorant. Don't be such a snob and get of that high horse >

And if you look closely you can spot the dome shaped prison, called "de koepel" too. If you look really close to the left of the balcony picture you can spot one of the traffic towers of Schiphol airport. But enough about my view, forum. Show us yours!

It is cool bus as the general says it can get dusty/messy really fast. And painting an entire wall with it will be rather expensive.
