Well, according to No mutants allowed they don't have any offices anymore. So I'd say they're pretty dead, don you think? The guys that brought you most gaming classics such as baldurs gate, M.A.X., descent 1 2 3, freespace, fallout and a boatload of other classic titles seems to be biting the dust.

Just what ARE you playing right now?

Well basically I'm waiting for ground control 2, and next to waiting for that game I play Enemy Territory online with my clan But the last few days I've hardly touched my pc since I think I got RSI and I want to be able to use my hands a little bit longer without excuciationg pain... -
Where do you all live? (Chris not invited to participate)

and now for part 2 of our haarlem tour, here are some pictures of our river (yes, a river, not a canal!) this house is right across the street from me, and since I'm too lazy to get a digital cam and go outside and take pictures you'd have to imagine this is my house, ok? Oh and if the sea is still too cold, or we don't feel like that salty water, we go to het wed it's in the dunes, less than 15 minutes biking from my house. -
Well, I guess Valve won't have to break its balls for a shitty H-L2 GBA port...

there are bittorrent downloads floating around on the net, I got my version from suprnova.org -
http://www.mrc.org/BozellColumns/entertainmentcolumn/2004/col20040521.asp I think we should set up some kind of 'goodbye lenin!' stunt. we put all the conservative bigods in one half of the world and let them think that gay marriage is still not legal and abortion is just a scary story to tell at the campfire. we also throw in some communist threats aswell and they can live happily ever after while we get on with our lives...

nothing wrong with gay pride, even if you're not gay Anyway, luilak is a very local event type thing. We also have sint maarten , something you can compare with halloween, but instead of costumes you make your own lantern and go from foor to door singing st maarten songs for loads of candy Oh and queensday is also sort of becoming a tradition

Funny thing about the unreal engine 3 is that it isn't pushing so much more polygons, but using all kinds of shader tricks to make the model look ten times as complex as it really is. Take the first screenshot chepito posted for instance. If you look closely at the central fountain's edges, you can almost count the vertexes, but as soon as you look at anything else it looks as if they are showing you a super detailed statue... Welcome to the world of light maps, normal maps, deluxe maps, specular maps, bump maps and whateverelse maps.

It's a singleplayer demo which should give you a taste of the game strategic side and kickass looks 3dgamers.com

I just finished the demo. I'm very 2 sided about this game. It's looks are awesome, the gameplay is great. But somehow it isn't ground control anymore. The pick your squads and fix that mission with that group of units isn't really there anymore. That was what made ground control unique. you get a bunch of units in the begin of a mission and that's all you'll get now you can call in reenforcements whenever you feel like it. But on the other hand it still has no base building and resource collecting hassle, just pure strategic fun. And for anyone who's not familiar with ground control it might give a fresh look at strategy games Very smart of the Massive guys to let me use the Mobile artillery in the one mission I was allowed to play. It still kicks mayor butt, just like in ground control =)

I think you should ask L. Brent Bozell III to write alternative opinions to the idle T reviews -
Z was cool, but so god damn hard! and hardwar still lives I believe, there's still a small group of people who play it online I believe... *checks* yup they even have a community website Oh and Hardwar has this kickass soundtrack with LFO, Aphex twin, squarepusher and all kinds of electronic music. The soundtrack alone is worth the purchase

24 year old unemployed person living in Haarlem, the Netherlands. Listening to the name 'Thijs'. But also know to listen to 'ys', 'ysbreker', 'or', 'ysblokje', 'sloopie', or 'joop' ps. I propose we make this thread a sticky so every new person that joins can add his personal thingy to it. and we won't have 20 identical threads about who you are
