Since I'm recovering at home and can't really work yet I've had time to make another mix set: This is an attempt at a techno journey from Detroit to Berlin and back again. Have we talked about DREDD yet? Because that movie is pretty damn awesome. Hopefully the DVD/bluray sales will offset the horrible cinema income and give us a sequel because that's all I wanted after seeing this movie.

Yeah they cut through my breast bone and dove in to replace my heart valve and part of my aorta. Another scar for the chicks to dig (They still do that, right?) Also i think I forgot to congratulate Subbes on her new job, wishing Miffy all he best on his jobhunt and I feel sorry for whoever forced you to use woocommerce, nachimir. Can't you try something like shopify?

Small update: I'm still alive & kicking! So far I'm right on track with my recovery and I'm feeling fine for someone who had his chest cut open and his heart valve replaced not 3 days ago

The matrix series was fine right up to the release of the second movie. The Animatrix was quite excellent.

After hearing Chirs talk about the game on the podcast I bought the game and played through it whilst trying to not make any kill and did so without any problems except for maybe one or two points where I could'nt find a way around a cluster of guards. I never had to drag a body to get pas any laser beam. They're all avoidable by either disabling them, circumventing them or by timing your moves right.

I watched all the videos yesterday and they're all great. Makes me want to make something myself.

First of all: congratulations To Sean, Jake and everyone else at TTG! But I was rather annoyed/disapointed that Sean & Jake didn't get mentioned by name when they got the award.

If you happen to work with HTML/CSS/JS or are interested in that kind of stuff go check em out. You might learn a thing or two Highlights for me this year: - Alex Russell, One of the developers of Chrome at Google talks about what is keeping the web from doing awesome stuff with the current technology. - Phil Hawksworth a designer at a big London design company gives a very entertaining talk about how shitty modern day CMS's really are.

So. I'm getting major heart surgery in about 3 weeks. In the week of December 10th I'll be going under the knife to get a new mechanical heart valve (And a bit of new aorta) thanks to a defect I had since my birth. Kinda nervous for that one.

Holy crap, this is tons of awesome. Instantly paid 50 bucks! I do have to say that Spacebase DF-9 sounds suspiciously like a remake of of Mucky feet's Startopia. Which is a totally awesome thing! (I presume JP will address this some time during the fortnight)
