ysbreker replied to ThunderPeel2001's topic in Multiplayer Networking
I got a free xbox360 today! Helping my work find a new colleague had it's advantages -
6 hours of the diamond age would be all kinds of awesome!

That's because you know the original I think it's in a few 2 many DJ's mixes.

I thought the European alarm number was 112? Why is it 999 in the UK?
-
Thanks for the warning I did read his critique and I think he's wrong. But I'm a nobody on moving graphics, so his words count for more. I think.

File under: It'll never work. Neuromancer HOw can they even think to make this into a proper movie?

Classic!! Silently LOL-ing at my work here

UK only, ginger Good thing it's on youtube too It's a rather sobering and saddening look at the underbelly of America.Quite the total opposite of John Adams. Which I watched over the weekend. Which is a pretty interesting mini series of the live of the 2nd US president.

You should also check rockpapershotgun every now and then, they pretty often have a nice indie gem on there.

Speaking of bad karma. I've playing with 2 characters at the moment. One is miss goody 2 shoes and the other is a murdering bitch. I methodically killed everyone in Megaton as soon as I was able to arm the bomb and then I robbed their corpes phat lewt indeed!.

I've bought it on steam and am currently enjoying it. I think EG is pretty spot on with their review. Lara looks better than ever and yes she actually gets dirty. Which is pretty cool.

I'll finally be able to join in on the fun and play GTA IV on the PC real soon. GTA IV pre-ordered on steam! yay!

The Dancing Thumb (aka: music recommendations)

I've never heard of the tterm before but I'm liking the music: dub techno. Check out this excelent CD by Deadbeat. If all dub techno is like this then I want more! http://3voor12.vpro.nl/speler/luisterpaal/40865589 I especially like track 3. Grounation (Berghain Drum Jack) It's got this pulsing rythm that makes me want to dance. Too bad I'm at the office right now :/ -

Too funny! (great DnB too! )

I think the piracy rate of any game is around that figure: 90%. But I also think of those 90% maybe 2% represent lost sales. So it may sound very grim and sad, the actual lost sales aren't that bad I think. You could see it as some kind of promotion.

Wooh! Thanks for picking my email! And you were spot on about far cry 2. Far Cry 3 is actually in the works: http://www.shacknews.com/onearticle.x/54423

You can try it for yourself, Toblix: http://www.wordle.net/ The BBC used this after the campain debates making word clouds from the debates.

Heh, you earn the most diamonds with the story missions. And scrounging the countryside for diamonds helps too, especially early on in the game. Just pay attention to the green led on your GPS unit.

ooh! James Zabiela! *download* -
I've got season 5 on DVD here. But I keep delaying watching them because I know there won't be another season after this one I will watch them all from season 1 some day soon. I promise! And on the other extreme end of the spectrum: I'm really liking Chuck. I just love the over the top cheezy plots and clunky 'scifi' parts. Oh and since they've given buster a role as store manager this show can't get any better

Does this make me a geek for thinking this would make a pretty neat poster?

If you're playing on the PC hit F5 for quicksave. This has saved me quite some trip to my save houses. This game also has some tough story choices for you in store too. I just finished the game last evening and I loved every bit of it. I was just shocked at the ending. I'm not going to spoiler tag it. It's something you just have to experience for yourself. The main gripe I hear people talking about is the respawning checkpoints. But I found them a challenge. You can avoid them if you plan your route. Or just barge on in guns blazing. Or if you're a bit more cautious, just grab a sniper rifle and pick them off from a distance. All in all this game is a blast and most definitely worth a play through.:tup: out of 5

I was so about to make a thread about this when I saw it on eurogamer. Now I'm off to read! (http://www.eurogamer.net/article.php?article_id=283788)
