  1. Movie/TV recommendations

    I just saw a pretty damn cool movie called push. I really recommend you go see it if you liked the premise of heroes but didn't like the heavy handedness of that show. It's about people having psychic abilities being chased by the government. It all takes place in Hong Kong with (almost) everything filmed right on the streets. Which gives it a really cool gritty and real feel to it. The cinematography is great and they keep the SFX to a minimum. It's a must see in my book!

    Read the revelation space series by Alastair Reynolds. I love his books to bits. Can't get much harder scifi wise than Reynolds I think http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alastair_Reynolds

    If you're going to read just one Pratchett book make it Nation. I totally love that book.

    Speaking of english Sci-Fi. Did you guys see the Doctor Who easter special? I rather liked it. Too bad Michelle Ryan isn't going to be a companion :/ The teaser for Waters of Mars shows that that one will be great aswell. Can't wait!

    I have to admit I never really was a fan of quake3 back in the day. But I heard Chris mention they're thinking of porting wolfenstein:ET to the quakelive environment so I can't wait for that to happen and really get into this whole quakelive thing.

  19. The awesome journal inspired me to do some cheap copy & paste stuff and I came up with this desktop background. It's 1680 x 1050 px. If you want a diffirent size let me know, I might be able to whip something up.

    I just finished reading daemon. If you like techno thrillers you'll like this one quite a lot I think. Think Eagle Eye done actually good.

    My bookcase let me show it to you: So yeah you might say that I like to read. I'm a big scifi nerd and love me a good space opera. I can heartily recommend anything written by Alastair Reynolds. Another big favorite of me is Neal Stephenson. But I bet you've heard of him before. Another writer you undoubtedly know is Terry Pratchett, his latest book, Nation, is superb. Read it. If you like you can see (almost) all of my books in the photo's in this folder.

    I just finished playing the first episode and it was quite fun I'd say. Had to giggle when I saw Eggerton Eggerton Greene making his appearance in the credits.
